reasons to live;
waiting for more chapters of AMKHI
waiting to see all of LOTM animated
uhhh
waiting to see ORV animated
waiting for more chapters of tcf's book 2
waiting for more chapters of s classes to be adopted (and to read more chapters too)
mmm.. what else?
yeah that's it.
(other than my fam ofc)
Oh, also, waiting for Ex rank fandom to expand.
Yep.
Hero? Anti hero? King? Emperor? Fuck no, he's merciless, ruthless, no morals whatsoever. But he's a leader. If you want a ruthless MC, borderline evil, red flag with manners, he's yours. He's morally grey by his thoughts, but he's actions? If he was real, he'd be considered a war criminal lmaoo (not jk)
its been so long since read this and I read the manwhua so its still botchy. I mostly read it for the romance but damn was I wrecked by the emotiona bus truck lol. I think its been 10 months to a year ago since I read this (cause I remember reading this after reading the novel for turning and the manwhua for traces of the sun). so far, I'm not really engaged or emotionally interested and I hope i was because I can see its a genuine story that has good potential. (high-key wish I can erase my memory of this story and read it again so I can appreciate it better lol)
the reason I wanted to read it this is because it looks and seems pretty good to me (all the other readers that have the same type as me also gave it a good response lol). this story was particularly grouped with 'turning', 'traces of the sun', and 'mission: save the hunter/I delayed my death because of a will' and I can see why. each of these bls have angsty backstory from the start and there are so many to unpack. I genuinely hope I stop procrastinating and read it but so far. aha. pointless
was obsessed and kept coming back but the last few chapters felt dragged on. I still reread often. honestly, I feel like the only reason I dropped it is because of the shitty translation in the latest chapters. if the translation becomes better, I def will try to finish it.
Love, personally marinating it rn. but its my comfort ship, whenever I read the main couple (whether its ff or canon) i alway have butterflies. theyre so cute and wholesome (and tragic). i love yuder and kishiar's relationship sm (i have a wholeass playlist dedicaated to this ship bro) and its been holy shit its been so long. last time i remember reading this was last year november. fucking 2024. its been 10 fucking months since I read this lmaoooo. ugh. my loves. also, 1st timeline kishiar and yuder was tragic bro. they were a fucking sad ending. (Orpheus and euridice) I;m still at chaps 700 but there's still so much mystery. the first emperor and luma, the five dukedom and the five children of the emperor. the religion of the sun god and the black moon goddess of the southern continent, the origin of aura and why and how yuder regressed. so much mystery and I'm still waiting for this to marinate brooo. Overall, I love the world building which is so compact and all (even the villains even if mysterious) are seriously well-thought out and well-written. the dynamic between the main characters and the supporting ones are so loveable and the opportunities broo
really cute, wholesome, angst, healing and comedy, just waiting for it to finish. I was so obsessed with it. the holy Trinity which consists of 'trash of the count's family', 'omniscient reader' and 's classes that I raised/my s class hunters' was my start of reading novels. first I read the manwhua of tcf, and then read the novel, and then read the manwhua for ORV and then finished the ORV novel before finishing the tcf novel. and then finally s rank. I was genuinely so hyped and I read the novel first. I was ignorant to the possibilities of horrible translation and grammar so I didn't have the dignity to mind them so I thoroughly enjoyed s classes (I also started reading webnovels around 2021)(so far a year after ORV was completed) and then after a year of paused reading, I came back to the manwhua and finished and then read the novel till I reached chapters 190 and then waited again. it was a tough but fun process and all of the characters are memorable and loveable. I still remember them clearly and still visit them in ao3 loll. they were also one of the first I visited in ao3 lmaooo. overall. I'm obsessed with the dynamic between the characters and the characters' interactions with the world and world building. and there are still so much I havent read yet bro.
it was extremely memorable, the characters were well written and easily relatable while still being distant enough. The story, plot, and dialogue was well done and the world building might be nothing special but I wasn't here for that in the first place. it was very easy to love and cheer for the main characters and the theme and core lesson of the story was greatly maintained, while still light despite having deep and complicated themes. It started of light as expected while having small deviations which were cute and easy to digest but not only that, the author fleshed out a lot of the supporting cast in a refreshing way, making their lives not just revolve around the main character while still showing the spotlight to the protagonist. the author did well with the potential of the characters and the villains remained as villains which while quite bland was a pretty wise choice. There are a lot of supporting cast which I quite liked and particularly memorable but it still made me root for the main characters. The pacing was excellent, neither too fast nor too slow and it was incredibly easy to get immersed and imagine their banters, conversation, and such. I really liked the fact that their story didn't end at their teenage years and continued to flesh out the supporting cast. (cause although unrelated, I was pretty disappointed for the last noel I read which ended at their adult yes, but still late teenage years). The characters also, stayed true to their, well, character. They didn't lose their original personalities that made them charming, but also, they grew in a realistic and understandable way. Of course I still felt a dissonance between the teenage y/o characters and their adult self which I would say is understandable. What I probably liked most after that is pacing, and the fact that the author fleshed out the side cast.
It's really good? It's like if Kim ROK soo but more trashy and lost his resolve debuted as a failed idol and then regressed. And to be honest, this is the fifth idol-system-time travel novel I read right? (Debut or die, then assistant manager Kim hates idols, then the malicious member is back and then the trashy pd is forced to become an idol and finally the return of the idol who lost his original intentions) I seem to have a type loll. Anyway, overall. This is really good especially the mc, he's really relatable and definitely a character i would both root for and make fun of. The characters are fairly realistic (not that I'm saying they're reasonable especially the scumbags but fairly realistic) the members.. Hmm, tbh I love all the members, especially the dynamic between Eden and Hajun but.. Do in is a bit too much, it's like what it said, because I relate a lot to Eden (the unconsideration and sarcasm) Kim Robin is a bit too much for me.. Ok I was an Otaku ok buttt.. The way his character approaches that trope just makes him obnoxious, I don't wanna hate him but I can't like him either soooo... Anyway, pretty good, I'm just camping here
bit overrated in terms of being loved by the fandom (esps the mc) but still really good but its understandable, it's Cale after all.
I think this was one of my first if not literally and actually the first novel I read which was about 2020-2021 because I discovered wmmap then. I was absolutely obsessed with it. if ex rank, turning, and lotm are my hyperfixations, then idwtr, ORV, and tcf were my thing back then. I was so emotionally attached to tcf that it consumed every thought of mine every single second of my days. those 772 chapters for were fucking devouring me lol. i'm pretty sure I took a four to six months long break reading ORV and tcf and just started reading ao3. tcf back then was the reason I started reading in ao3 (there were no tcf ff in wattpad lmaoo) and is also the reason why I still get confused and mixed up the canon with the ffs lol. overall, I was absolutely obsessed with the mc, Cale, Kim Rok Soo, those two names were the reason I was alive back then lmaooo. I was such a clueless child back then. what got me into the story was the characters as cliche as it sounds. each and every characters were so well-seasoned and thought-out that they didn't feel canon, as if they were written by fans for fans. the whole novel honestly felt like fanfiction to me (prob because I really hit off with the fanfiction when I was reading tcf). and god the world building. haha. I love it so freaking much. the world tree, the races like the dragons, eleves, dwarves. and the tribes;the wolf tribe, lion tribe, whale tribe, cat tribe. so fucking perfect.
toxic at first but at least they healed. of course it's by no means realistic, but it made me cry which, well, wow. And don't get me wrong, they're still (extremely super very) unhealthy, sure they don't harm each other anymore and there are (some but still too little) boundaries but it can easily be destroyed. The only reason the power dynamics can be (barely) counted as equal and not unequal is because of Ui-woo's obsession with Jae-jin. Ui-woo is extremely powerful, especially after he got his memories back and Jae-jin is still vulnerable against him so realistically, this could get shit down real fast but they're in love sooo. (unhealthily so)
would finish if it was possiblele. Yi-gyeol-ah, Yi-gyeol-ah, I love you so fucking much AGHHH. I love Cheon Sa-yeon, Ha Tae-heon, ughhh. what really got me was the compatibility between the Sa-yeon and Yi-gyeol tho. the plot twist the Sa-yeon was a regressor and Yi-gyeol helped Sa-yeol as Kwon Sehyun was literal chills. ughhh. my (pschopathic) babies.
short term? its fun, you don't need to use your brain but its repetitive. long term? boring, the characters are not fleshed out that much, most if not all of them are flat and have no development, the mc has no brain and the romance was uncalled for. if it was a little bit shorter, maybe 100 to 200 chapters, it would've been pretty good but it was dragged out too much. it you want fun but long chapters that you don't need to use your brain and not easily bored, its for you but I don't recommend it if you want good plot, characters, and pacing
I LOVE IT SO FREAKING MUCH!! It's like orv (as in the world building is directly related to stories) and the fact that the MC is a writer. My only regret is that I wish I read it more slowly and at home so that I got attached to it. I didn't get as attached when I was almost at the ending so my emotional response is a bit laggy lol but I love it so much, all of the characters, even from the supporting ones and especially the main antagonist, -as much as u dont him, I love him as a character-, he's so well-written that you can't help but pity and wish for the better for him but ISAAC!! MY MAN (who wants a man lmfao) when we was named as Isaac, WHEN Leo named Isaac as Isaac because it was his name before. When you're so possessive u name ur man the name u used before lolll. And when Isaac named Leo as Leo. Aghhh. "𝘔𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵" ugh.
PEAK
whattt... There seems to be a lot of novels I hadn't realized that I had yet to provide commentary or review T-T. This one was so funny, I really liked Zhuang Baihua and the og mcs personality AND relationship.. they're so (laughing emoji rh) and the plot is so good. It was perfectly heart felt and angsty, it had complexity and simplicity which was a perfect balance. P.s; I don't think it was a plot twist but it was to me... the realization that MC not only pulled OG MC but also the FATHER!? The fucking rizz?? dammnnnn.. Imagine fulling both father and son lmaoooo. Also, the dynamics between mc and og mc or I guess he's the ml now??? haha switched positions (and quite literally too ifykwim hehe *cough* in bed *cough* *cough* who said that!? must've been the wind *cough*) ahem... yepppp
PERFECT (still haven't read the sequel tho) I wish I was captivated, I wish I was interested in the first placement I wish I wasn't approached but was the first to approach, i wish I was the one to discover. nonetheless I love this story, from the small little moments to the grandeur it made. I love the characters, the plot, the world building, and i'm sure that even though I probably wont be as inclined to COI as I am to LOTM but i'm confident that I will still be fond as I am now.
only finished the official book but still owns my heart (IF YOU DON'T LOVE ORV AFTER READING IT YOU'RE MAD)
Ah.. *sigh of relaxation & nostalgia*.
honestly, this novel was really the one who introduced to reading. (and was also the main boost of my ego back in 5th grade lmaooo).
By reading this, I got to read s classes, tcf, tne, idwtr, and others. By reading this I got to read LOTM, Turning, Ex rank and so much freaking more. This was literally the cause of the ending and beginning of a chapter and era of my life. The end of my gacha and FNAF phase (which is lowkey still there but I digress) and the start of reading (though I honestly didn't really get any smarter lmaooo).
my literal motivation to live rn is to read, that's it, I eat, sleep, and drink (is not only cause of my family) is because I want to read more stories. Lmaoo, though ORV is not my reason to live as TWSA was to Dokja-yah, it was the cause of my reason to live; which was to continue reading and discover stories. (but really also the reason of my decreasing mental health lets be honest but never mind that).
Despite the significance of ORV to my life, the story itself was a breath of fresh air. mind you I was a (9 yro I think) reader who didn't know better and only read shitty Wattpad stories lmaoo. the manwha for me was really easy to read, I immediately got engrossed in it first chapter.
My only regret was that I wished I read it later in my life, so I get to appreciate all the small details, so I hadn't rushed in, so I didn't listen to the spoilers, so I could've had the maturity and wisdom to understand the story so much better, and so I could've gotten attached more.
how do I say this? ITS PERFECT!!! I mean in my opinion, all aspects and categories are all great and well written, the characters (especially the character growth and development of the MC and ML as well as the growth of their relationship) was extremely well-written, there are some plot holes for the world-building like the system or the Three Pillars. BUT GODDAMN!! THE SEXUAL TENSION IS JUST *chefs kiss* they were so sexy and so smart and intelligent and handsome and skilled and they are a pair of very loveable characters. (Believe it or not, I actually shipped A-Jiu with Zhuge An first lmaoooo but the two have one of the highest chemistry I ever read which says a lot. They're the kind of couple who's kinky but also sexy but also would destroy a world for each other or just kill each other before they could be killed by others lol.
AGAIN!!! MY ONLY REGRER IS THAT I WASNT TOO EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED!!! AGHHHH< (I also wasn't very interested in esport so I was confused most of the time lol but I could tell this was a masterpiece, there were alot of tension that were exucuted perfectly and all of the character were well-written (especially the former team of gods) ahhh, iwantmore!! I wanna read fanfics, I wannaa see an au where Wei Xiao didn't give up, I wanna see a world where he joined with close in the former FTW (former team of gods) so many content to unpack!!!AHHH if only this fandom was more livelier wahhhh.
FOR THE WINN!!!!!!
Perfectly my type of story. The MC is independent but is loveable and the ml is my type too, I ship em so fkn much loll. And they're both so pretty, story wise, it's pretty short for me but still well paced, I did skip a lot of chapters though but I like it lol
its really cool right now but not that memorable, I manage to forget it after reading a few novels lmaoo. I'm so excited when they find out that cover is mc. NO. THIS IS A FUCKING MASTERPEAC. the mc is humorously oblivious but not to the point its annoying (yet) most of the male leads are loveable (cause I'm not sure if there are other characters considered ml) and its really fucking fun reading it. I love it.
loved Eushin and the tigers, the only complaint is that there's no actual people translating in the later chapters. I'm still obsessed despite the shitty translation. I literally read it every single day, js cant stop
It's so fucking fun, Iwol is so fun and cute, I love the characters' dynamics so much, all of them have so much depth and emotion, they all have a place in the story, my only complaint is that I wish I read it earlier
I'm not gonna lie, this is probably if not one of the most complicated romance novel (in general, not js bl) I've read in a while. The eleven? Tweleve male leads (counting Future/Jiang Che) were all complicated but some how, they were all memorable, even if some are more than others. And I like the MC, Ji Ning is far from perfect, he's not kind or selfless but he still has morals and his principles, not only that but he's also scummy too. I mean, the stories and tradegies he enacted was wooah. Holy shit? Anyway, would probably read it again for nostalgia's sake, especially the later chapter loll.
ITS SOOOO CUTEEEE!!! But also kind of weird? The later chapters are so cute. But the characters are kind of weird, they're not overly complex, quite simple actually which is nice I guess, far different from the plot twist, complicated plots, and 4 dimensional characters i'm used too but its ok. How do I say this, the characters don't really stay consistent? I mean they stay consistent by their concepts but stuff doesn't really flow, like Shi Yu, at times, he's very perceptive, just a message towards him and he can instantly deduce what happened, but then the next second, he'simpossibly oblivious. (I guess its because of his mixed humanity and divinity but still)
ITS SO CUTE! but also, it had a lot of potential for plot points and world building, what's the reincarnation management commit something? what about the souls? who was the person that caused Ryu Chaeyoon's reincarnation and Jin Seongwoo's past life? overall, it was a pretty light and fast read, cute and wholesome with middle angst but not something that can make you unhealthily obsessed. "ahem" *cough* orv, *cough* tcg, *cough* ex rank.. must've been the wind.
huhu, I want more, i'm so hungry TT> this is so interesting though and I'm already loving the mc and so interested for the development of the relationships of the protagonist. Someone, just please, i'm begging you, take on this novel and translate it!!.
maybe not right now, maybe when I've had guaranteed free time (it hasn't stopped me before but nevertheless) 800 chapters is a lot to commit (despite the fact i love novels that have a lot of chapters) and the genre is not my usual sooo i'm gonna contemplate for a bit.
I need to reread this in order to give proper review/commentary because the title is so generic that I forgot what's it about in the first place (I still have some general idea ofc but only in the first few chapters, not the)... wait, the memory is coming back ok.. That was cute.. the last chapters and the mcs development and the system's sacrifice was so well done?? ANd the ml.. he's sooo, the way he's written makes him so attractive.. and so captivating and ahhh makes me wanna root the mcs so bad but I can't remember much about the mc other than his hesitance so I definitely need to reread cause my memory is so shit rn and the covers' not making it any better.
It's really cute ahh. Though it was pretty easy to get disinterested in the early chapters though. Again, one of my biggest regrets is not being emotionally invested in it but it was still really enjoyable. Though none of them are that complex, they are still loveable, relatable and non-stereotypical and even when they are, they're still pretty original/ The world building (the game) is pretty well made and the pace was pretty good. The choatacters were also pretty good (can still be better though, especially the MC) the MC was pretty emotionally stunted as far as I can tell because why does he seem too apathetic despite the fact that practically died and traveled to he future? There was some emotional moments for sure but we really never went into the thoughts 0f MC which was pretty regretable. And maybe because i'm used to first person point of views for novels but still, i'd like some more focus on the internal side of MC
It's a really good novel for a light short read that can last a day. It's not too heavy with angst but has enough that it's not 2-dimensional. The CP is also very cute. Overall and enjoyable read that has little complications but very loveable characters
CUUTEE!! after the misunderstandings so far, its so cute and really pleasant to read, just enough plt so I don get bored but no brain ending stuff. each and every male lead is unique and although the two brothers are more focused, the others are not that overshadowed lol.
It was really good! But to be honest, this could've done well on its own even without the CP. The focus of the story from the premise is,—of course about the misunderstandings—, but regardless of the CP, the story could've revolved around that. Nevertheless I really liked this story, the mc is very cute and loveable and the supporting cast are very memorable and easily liked. I don't really have an opinion on the ML other than the fact that the MC and ML are very cute, ML just seems like a typical (but still very loveable original) CEO-archetype with small deviations. There's just two things i'm unsatisfied about; one, what's the system? this world isn't a transmigration and other than the system, it doesn't have any other supernatural elements at all. Second; how the fuck did MC fall in love with the ML and vice versa. I wished the novel explored that cause I felt like their characters were deteriorating instead of progressing. The novel didn't explore how their emotions got deeper at all. Or maybe it did through subtle cues and I just rushed it. But I digress, still a pretty (really) enjoyable read. I laughed pretty hard (a lot).
Holy shit??? They so disgustingly cute?? Y'k the phrase 'you become more similar to the person you spend most with' or 'you imitate the actions of the person you like'??? Thats literally what happened in the later chapters, the MCs and ml behavior got switched but I wasn't even ooc!?? Somehow!?? Wtf!?? And they so disgustingly adorable cause ahhhh. If I had to choose the novel with the most romantic quotes? It would be this! Ahhh, I wish I saved it!! I'm gonna save it!!!! So cuuutee. Also, apparently the author was also the one who wrote fanservoce paradox?? The one I heard is really really good?? And from what Ive read from BECDSS, it definitely is flavorful of not a Michelin star. Ahhh, so cuute and so romantic and I wish the best for them ❤❤❤
TT when will I get to finish it???? The last chapter was translated over months ago and I'm so hungry for the rest TT. I really like the MC and its fairly easy to root for them. I read one of the reviews which showed that the readerwas disappointed because his drinking addiction didn't get explored, while regretful, I don't really mind cause the reason I read this wasn't became of his deviation (drinking addiction) in the first place and rather because of the genre and the fact that he regressed. I want a fluffy but fairly complex revenge story. I really want to read the rest of the chapters TT.
ahhh, I HATE spatial and temporal (especially temporal) paradoxes but this did it so well, I admit I lost motivation and skipped the later chapters (chapter 226 to 231) to the final battle (glory) but it was so worth it. I didn't expect Xuan An and Li Wei to continue to split instead of merge but its so much better. All (yep all, except that flat system) characters are well written and well shown, efen if they're not, all of them has importance, no matter how small, and I love how the author highlighted this. When Xiao An thought how he got there, it was a result of choices and whenever he explores the possibilities, he nevertheless concludes to there is no ifs, he's there because of choice. I again wish I had more emotional attachment AND more time to read cause I did rush but but you can't blame only me for the emotional attachment, I got affected by Xaio An, he's so emotionally detached it affects the readers too.
CUUTEE and so far most of the characters are loveable (except for the villains ofc) and well written, they are so many mysteries to uncover and I'm so excited
(cue the part of 'waiting, waiting, waiting for you' part from would you fall in love with me again) because I AM WAITING BROOO! I love the mc even if he's a bit too oblivious sometimes and I learned how to love the ml they're so cute together but the misunderstandings were a PAIN especially the second ml and fml
Underrated, very underrated. It's a classic but also a deviate and the CP is so cute, its just easy to get bored if you read it in straight so breaks every arc is good. Its a pretty long novel with average high chapter count (my chapter average are all at least higher than 90 chapters) and the chapters are all super long so its easy to get tired. I love them but I'm not curious nor interested enough to read all of it without getting tired.
WOAH! that was an honestly pretty good read lol. Its a fast read but the pacing was good (could be a little bit better) and there was enough of everything (fluff, family, smut, etc) and it was a fulfilling read
I read the manwhua and it was pretty good, the late chapters that lead up to the ending just wasn't my type (the ship is cute but there was so much potential for so many characters that were usedbut also wasn't, particularly MCs brother; Han Sihyuk (yes, he's my type, and yes I might be biased because he was handsome but still))
I cannot believe I haven't even give this commentary, even after all this time it still has a strong impression on me. FIrst, the writing of the novel, the way the author writes is so eerie, creepy, the internilization of the mc and his thoughts is detached, blunt, and apathetic so the vision of the reader of the world-building is like a grey world, there's no colors because the mcs attitude is so apathetic and I love it. It makes the novel eerie and cr3eepy, the atmosphere is so well made as if something is going to jump at you in a creepy way. Second, the characters, I don't mean their development because that's for later but the reaction of the characters to the ghost and supernatural stuff is so chilling, it's dangerous and what makes me like it even more is the character's reaction to the ml, aside from the romance between mc and ml. Ml is very vague, Yan Mei is so creepy too and has a vibe that just sends chills down your back. The characters infatuation with him and the fact they don't even recognize or realize it is so.. creepy (I really need to expand my vocab in these things bruh). ANd finally, the characters development of mc and ml, they.. very realistic and actually, I really liked the way they developed, and the later chapters were so thrilling, especially when MC traveled in time/their minds (because technically mc traveled in their memories to rewrite their meeting so technically traveled back in time in their memories). Now additional commentary... y'k the fact I have this criteria in order to love it more so where the spotlight between the supporting cast and the protagonist have to be on a balance right??? This story makes it so they shine on the supporting cast in order to highlight the protagonists which is Soo... is a pleasure to me (in a way a guilty pleasure is) I love it so much. In simple terms I love it when the novel shines on the side characters in order to not only highlight their complexities and characteristics but also to high the protagonist themselves... and I love how this novel executes that.. very underrated novel. Also the pacing is perfect despite my usual 90 chap novels. Another point for the character's own attitude and behavior towards their surroundings because it is so original I love how the author's mind works; Ye Jishu's casual oblivion and apathy towards his surroundings and his delusion (because it is I'm not gonna white wash) is soo.. whattt. I love how he works so much and damnnn I wish I had that power so much and.. his blurred??? Mental capacity?? His semi-aware when he ignores things but also not,, and I love that sm, and the way Yan Mei compliments him so much?? In both terms of personality in powers, Yan Mei makes it so that everyone he surrounds himself is infatuated with him but because of Ye Jishu's apathy is soo, and they're.. when Yan Mei breaks Ye JIshu's worldview is just... Also, I really like Yan Mei in general and the way the last chapters elaborates their complexities is incredibly well-done.. okiee. done.
i'm so giddy rn, the mc is so attractive and captivating, He's very sly and I love his qualities and the chemistry he has with Lu Qi is just out of this qorld (quite literally lol). The plot is very good but because I might have to take a break I might not be able to immerse myself. The characters are all so cute in a very adorable fashion (excluding the fodders( and the world building so far is pretty cute.
I don't want to finish it, I don't care if i'm missing out, I don't care about the fact that this novel was compared with ex rank, I'm not finishing this peace of shit
something something. I know that I read this and I had enjoyed the story immensely but I can;t remember how far I read exactly so imma just procrastinate reading it y'know or imma just read but yeppp ahh. Maybe I already read it but haven't found the novel list website yet lol
First; this was so funny, I don't know how hard I laughed at multiple chapters! Sure the gossip was too much sometimes but they're all so funny and all the good people was alive! Not only that, plot holes don't exist and the plot twist was super surprising I didn't consider Ye Leyao being a system!! And the angst was perfect! I just wish Ye Leyao's career was also focused on for a bit but I understand that the genre in the first place is found family and romance but I love it so much!!!>
I can't believe i'm saying this but... I'm literally dropping this because it's too sweet. Yes, you read that right. Too fucking sweet. Well, mostly because the character's romance is too fast and i'm used with slow burn, the type where we're already 200 chapters in and the character's still haven't even held hands, and only at chapter 400 did they kiss. (totally not talking about IHM) But how do I say this. It's not realistic at all. All of them are set in a realistic setting in the real world but I don't believe in love in first sight, i'd tolerate it if it had 10 years or even 6 month to develop or somethings (even that's pushing it) and I only believe 'interest in first sight' whether that be sexual or anything else but love??? That's only if it's a love potions or mind control or somethings. No wonder it only had 60 chapters, it was because the development between ml and mc were so fast they were at light speed! For BEDSS Or Xu Xichen and XIa Zhixiu. The only reason I managed to tolerate their love in first side shit is because they didn't realize that they were in love and only thought it was deep friendship!! not only that but that love in first sight also had time to develop, for 10 years nonetheless!!! 10 years is a shit ton of a long time so I can't even argue that they were too fast. Not only that but even if the two characters, Shang Yushan and He Changning had all of my favorite troupes and concepts. The way that they were introduced and then later elaborated was a let down. SYS was introduced as this dominering CEO who was ruthless but he immediately falls to his knees while HCN was a let down. He was an author!! An author!! XXC was not served justice. He's emotions?? They're so confusing and inconsistent. Not only that but the writing genuinely made me want to smash my head against the wall. "Why are you being so nice to me?" Ugh, genuinely my most worst and least favorite question of all time. Even mathematical or scientific inquiries doesn't go past beyond my hatred for it. I'm gonna go read fan service paradox for some cleaning Jesus Christ, have some shame
I can't so sweet, too sweet, ying ying~. I'm gonna have diabetes and an infectious smile diseas!!! so cutee!!! so sweet!!! so fluffy!!! I just wanna eat sugar!!! sugar! sugar!
I really really like, though it was a bad start, it was really good at bringing twists and turns, the execution was good, and I'm pumped for the next chapters, I thought there would be some but there's no plots holes or inconsistency. I just wishes there would be more development for the supporting characters, not just the mc.
I just reread well, I just read the newest/recent chapters and I'm gonna elaborate why I rated this as a 9. first, because I geuinely enjoyed it, despite not expecting much, I was genuinely excited and anticipating the next part of the story, next; though there are weaknesses such as character development and complexity (especially the antagonist and side characters, not supporting characters bw), the fun times and the relationship between the characters were ones I genuinely love and adore, the (barely) reconcilation of Ian and Eloin, the discover of Ian's twin sister (that was actually a genuine plot twist btw), and the knights; Nathan and Galon were especially memorable. So yeah, a 9 out of 10. BUt seriously, I enjoyed this a lot so it is the main reason why I rated it so high
OH MY GOD!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! They're so freaking unimaginably cuuuuuteee. (And Lord, the $x scenes were divine goddamn) And the quotes, the quotes oh my God, I would die for the author's quotes, hell I would *kill* for the author's quotes cause ahhhhh, they're so romantic and so cuuuuuttteee!!!!!!!!! In the early pre-relationship stage, they were so freaking romantic that they were even more fucking romantic than fucking couples whom are in love, they were not yet in love mind you!!!!!!!!
Nevermin my gushing, this is a solid 10/10, the translation were -ish, the pronouns and genders were not gendering but like Heng-heng said, what defines normal? The quotes, goddamn the quotes, ahhhhhhhhhh. They're sooo, as a person who's deeply in love with science especially the Cosmos and the universe and the space aspect (despite hating the math side) and as a writer myself who appreciates art (made a whole-ass lotm pathway based on art btw) deeply relate, the way the author made the two subjects intertwine so smoothly is god-like. The characters? Perfect, I mean they aren't cause they *are* flawed but that's what makes them perfect. Xia Xiqing is scum, trash, (even more than Cale shockers ik) He purposely strings people and then throws them away like toys and trash but like what people says "Hurt people hurt people". And he's literally the epitome of that quotes. He's hurt, depressed, and his self-esteem is low as shit, he was abused and is abusing himself (was considering they're happy *now*) and he was thought to hate himself and that he won't ever find nor does he deserve to be loved and in this way he hurt others. He even deliberately harmed himself in order to take advantage of ZZH but he's also gentle, not good but not evil. Just rough. And ZZH thought him to love himself.
Then ZZH, he was, extremely contradicting in the first chapters and I didn't like him that much but woahhhh. His passion, and his idealism makes him such a rare character these days, especially where actual sunshine character (characters that don't end up depressed or dead) are rare. He's not a sunshine but XXQ and I can see that he radiates lights like the stars he studies. But what I like about him most is that he slips up, especially towards XXQ. XXQ is literally the only person that can affect him like that and he's not perfect, nor perfectly good. He (over)indulges in pleasure, sometimes biased, and he does hurt people (even if rarely) but he's good in all the way that matters which makes him a good characters. He's concept is refreshing in a world of pessimistic protagonist and psychopathic love interests. His focus on the bright side and the dawn yet cleanses the dark and doesn't claim ignorance is captivating, refreshing, and extremely attractive. And the concept for the two of their characters in of itself is already loveable.
Overall, they're both extremely well-made character in a well-paced setting and in a realistic but still reasonable world which makes this extremely loveable.
(i'm also not totally, totally biased for the side characters because they're also from a novel, that I read, before this one.... Yeahhh, totally ^^')
it was ok? from what I remember, it was really cute and I enjoyed it but I wasn't deeply moved by particularly, the main characters relationship was pretty memorable and cute though. The other characters, how do I put this? they were a bit bland, always revolving around the mc but I suppose expecting a lot is a bit too much. Genuinely happy for the mc though, the ending wasn't perfec nor very good but it also wasn't too bad, just thought that there was a better way to end it though it suited the story. The story itself was... alright, I guess. maybe because its been a while since I finished the novel and the novelty (pun non-intended) wore off but there's obviously a lot more stories better than this one. Its cute, its just that maybe cause i've read a lot of bls, tis one didn't particularly stood out.
ok this was cute as fuuuuuuuck. Like, I am so glad that I read this because it is so fucking rare that I initiate to read straight couple novels. This was so cute. I think the main (and probs only) reason why I got the urge to read this was because mc is 70% like me and that she wasn't interested in romance and also I love "oh? how interesting" intrigued MLS sm lol. I wasn't really here for the plot but for the fluff but it was really good. all characters has complexity but not overly so and the main couple were very well-written. The pace was done well though could be better, and also. thx god there weren't any ss cause I probably would have dropped lol. Anyway, 9/10 which is rare for a straight romance Ik but its really deserved lol
This is nice, I had a lot of fun and there's a lot of character development but uhh, I'd say this is not the one i'm looking for? The focus isn't on the MC and it's definitely more heavier than expected but a pleasant surprise nonetheless, all the side and supporting characters are fleshed out but the focus and the spotlight isn't on the mc and its much more detailed than the usual entertainment one but it's definitely nice. I'd probably reread if given the chance and have the motivation but yep
hmm, how do I say this. The main couple were cute, just that. I'd say the story is quite literally about them. That's the problem, it was only them. It didn't feel like the main characters grew or developed, the supporting cast were just there. It was cute. Suitable for a light read but compared to the heavy character-development and growth I usually read, it was without a doubt disappointing.
I was so disappointed to the ending. I don't mind the MC and he had pretty good chemistry in between the male leads. And each of the male leads were distinct ad unique (maybe except Brandon cause he was forgotten lol) but the ending was so disappointing. I'm not that attached to MC that much nor the characters. The pacing was great, the world building was avarage. And I skipped a medium ammount of chapters. I wish it was poly where each day was allocated to the MC and the weekends was for himself but really.. Generally, not my good so it's not very good to me but it isnt trash. The character development were actually pretty good but not my kind of tea.
its really attractive. The thing that first caught my attention was of course the cross-dressing but also Lu Xi's indifference and I really relate to that. Second was the atmosphere and chemistry between Ji Niang and Lu Xi and yes they are good when together but also when they're themselves in terms of writing. They enhance eachother's best qualities when they're together and whenever they are together. They invoke this kind of specialness and uniqueness that's their own which I feel is really hard to capture. They orbit each other; in most stories, it's either one character orbiting each other or vice versa but not this one. In Lu Xi's and Ji Niang's relationship; yes, Ji Niang was the first to be pulled but he gradually gained gravity and pulled in Lu Xi and without them noticing; they gradually became each other's sun
my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Honestly? Its flat, the main characters are flat, the supporting and side characters are flat, and the background characters are flat. There's no dimensionality in them other than their fixed traits, and their behavior is just plain brainless. Honestly I feel bad for the ML because to be honest, he's the only one with character potential. The MC is brainless and if it weren't for his plot armour, he would've been dead over a thousand times already. I know comparisons kills enjoyment but compared to Su Bei, Ye Muo, and Theo (all recent characters) this guy is just brainless with only a few fixed traits. The only reason I read this was because of the cover art
I also cannot believe I haven't written commentary at this one yet because it still has such a strong impact on me (I really need to start writing reviews the moment I finished t and not just like weeks to months later. Tbh, the most memorable and the strength of this novel other than the characters' personality is their relationship, the relationship between the main cast is so.. rare? maybe because I don't read novels where friendship is the main focus so this one struck me particularly.. It is very well written, i'm just going to say that. The relationship between mc and mc is.. god I wish someone loves me the same way ml loves mc and ughhh... my romantic aromantic bones.. anyways. 10/10, would reread. and also the plot or complexity or characters wasn't the one that raised ts rating, it was because it was enjoyable and I enjoyed it.
It was so enjoyable for the first early to mid chapters. It was very easy to root for the mc and it was incredibly fun. The world building is solid and the settings were a mix of both western and eastern fantasy (not what I would do but still pretty ok) in terms of character development; to be honest, I felt like the characters in Luka's (MC) works had more character development than the characters in the story itself lmao (Not funny) but it was still pretty good ig. More on the route of classic Isekai protagonist with some ingenuity and originality here and there.
this one is a really good and well-written story, and what I love about it most is it's originality, I genuinely wish it had more chapters. I think the most special thing about this novel is it's world-building, each tribe is unique and charming in their own way and the system of the tribe while seemingly stereotypical in terms of appearance, it has a lot of unique quirks and originality. I especially love the fact that each tribe has their own unique characteristic that makes them memorable, other than that, i struggled with the character's names other than of course Mc and ML and cubs. The characters on their own don't have a lot of complexity but each of their relationship and the way they react and behave to the surrounding is what I think makes this story so charming, they're not that complex, quite simple actually but that simplicity makes them even more loveable (especially the cubs, a character being complex doesn't necessarily mean that they're well-written). I genuiney enjoyed reading this. ^^
it only took less than 24 hours to finish lol, approx. 13 to 16 hours
Hero? Anti hero? King? Emperor? Fuck no, he's merciless, ruthless, no morals whatsoever. But he's a leader. I don't mind that much, if it wasn't my whatever count novel, I'd be morally evil by now. Definitely not for the light hearted
It's incredible fulfilling, the main cp is so cute and adorable and incredibly perceptive and intelligent. The MC is a person who is shrewd but also knows his limits and he carefully tiptoes on that line that seperates between courtesy and impudence which I love. The ml is attractive in a way his intelligence (along with his face off) is captivating and the chemistry between MC and ml is so incredibly intoxicating and addictive. And as we go along the story, we learn more about the characters, their past, and their motivations but despite their change, they don't lose the charm that captivated me in the first place. My only regret is I didn't pay attention to the political landscape so I only know the basics 😭😭 and couldn't appreciate their smartness lol
its so cute but also so sad, the story and plot was captivating and very savory, its a meal that feeds well. The characters are complex and all of them are understandable, relatable, and well-written (even if some are dislikeable *Coucgh* Cen Nan' s parents"who said that!!?") but still. it hit the spot just right the first few chapters. though it didn't make me sob, I admit I teared up a bit and the mood was skillfully done too, I was craving some melancholy so this was a nice change of pace from the high paced transmigrations and reincarnation fantasy stories.
I give up.. conspiracy novels are not for me (the reason I managed to read novels that have conspiracy in them is because it isn't the main plot, its either an arc or a side plot. not what the character's life revolves around)
I like it! The MC is so oblivious tho (can be a charming point i'm sure but still) the MC is heavily traumatized but he learns to heal and forgive himself. And i'm so excited for future chapters.
This is a very memorable story, the plot is exellent and its well executed other than the mistakes of the translated, its a very well-written story. All if not most characters are memorable and most often if not loveable. Each and every one of them are complex and has layers that need to be uncover in order to be undestood (especially the Grant siblings). The plot twist was unexpected and very original, it was well-executed and maybe my bias hindered that experience. The fluff was very adorable and I get kiddy and feels like i'm eating cotton candy or marshmallow just from reading it. The world building is especially well-done especially the history of the Grantz Empre and the other side of humanity was a nice tidbit/plotwist, very original. The ml; Theodore, tbh I didn't want him to be the ml when he was an itty bitty robot butttt... Yeah, I kinda ship it. The side characters (as written before; my preferences or favourite part of stories is a story where the protagonist can shine but the side characters have complexity, I hate it when the side characters take the spotlight too much or the main characters get ignored but I also hate it when the side characters are brainless npcs or the it only shows the main character, there's a delicate line that needs to be kept in order to satisfy these criterias) are well-written and most of them are even my favorite like Adlet (though one can argue he's a supporting character), Secretary-General Lin (he doesn't even have a name lmaoo) and especially Lakeley and Derick (they're so cute and so shippable loll) anyways, overall 10/10, would def reread and waiting for the chapss
they're so cute, I loved the mc chasing arc so much and the two MLS are so down bad but also. BROOO, y r u guys trapping the mc brooo. I'm so curious Abt og v.mc thooo
It's wonderful, I LOVE ITTTT SO MUCHH. The characters are wonderful, the writing is wonderful, the plot is wonderful, the pacing is wonderful. Its so attractive!!! The characters, their relationships and development are well-written and emphasized perfectly, their flaws are flaws and those flaws make it so that you can't help but love them (as clinche as it is) I love Lucien, I love Zephyros, I love Professor Evan, and I especially love Theo!!! I really want to finish it!!
I cannot read this... the MC is too ruthless? is he even human from earth?? he seems like a reincarnation of the main villain of a novel instead of the protagonist! I have read plenty of morally dubious and morally corrupt but this guy! I have never read a character like this guy at all! He's too ruthless, and sure there's some consideration but this is the type of senior who enjoys the suffering of his juniors!!! He's a tyrant!!! but I really wanna see the male lead bending him over but!!! TT, too ruthless! too merciless!!! (maybe because i'm currently a high school student but still, the work he's giving them just reminds me of my presentations and more I don't wanna experience yet!!!) I'll read this after I enter college or something, or after my school when i'm an adult and finished the same kind of suffering the MC gives to his (poor) disciples. (i'm all in for educating characters but the thing is the main topic isn't even about teaching, it's just exploiting people in the name of 'academic pursuits"/.
So far.. It's five stars, why? First, the characters.. 10 out of 10,sometimes it feels like fan fiction which is it's charm and I love it. The character development, yes all characters excluding the fodders are all well-made, including the villains. Worldbuilding? Extremely detailed AND consistent making it seem real, and third, arguebly one of the most important of all; pacing which was perfect and consistent. I think one arc that I didn't have the patience to read was the underground humans/nightmare people sooo yep. Now, another factor was the relationship and bond between the characters, I'm only at 325 but so far? It's pretty gud, not the one from the ending but considering Su Bei's characteristics, I'm surprised he hasn't ran away already but.. Yep. I'm gonna eleborate more when I have the energy 👍
it was genuinely one of the most memorable novels I read because it not only had a unique and original premise but each and every one of it's arcs was captivating. The Eternal Rose, Contract Marriege, etc. I wouldn't mind reading the MC's own novels and It was a very good and enjoyable experiences I read.
This was so adorableeeeeeee. ANd it was actually a very pleasant surprise, its like.. tasting something familiar but you don't eat it often and then when you bite into, flavors just bursts in your mouth, its like that. The first quotes/sentence/paragraph from the very first page is so philosophical and meaningful because the vulnerability and and weakness and feeling were evident and poured into those paragraphs and it was like a shock cause I was expecting something cute yes, but that love?? its so rare for it to be worded, to be phrased because nowadays its all about action which isn't wrong but we all need some sweetness right? Especially if it's said and given by our loved ones so overall 9 out of ten, great meaningful themes. (The only thing keeping it from a perfect 10 is i can't access the spice!!! there's a freaking password!!!! AHHH [scream of pain])
it was very fun. No, literally. the most enjoyable part was probably the CPs sweetness (though I did wish their development was more showed? Worked on? but nonetheless each character was charismatic and not very complicated but not very simple either. Just a balance between lighthearted and novel. The pacing is pretty good too though I feel like the later chapter would be rushed considering there's less than 50 chapters for me and the plot is still unfinished. Overall, would reread again.
I LOVE IT!!! the chaapters are sadly pretty short but I was deeply immersed in it and it was incredibly easy to love the main charactes. (I'm not sure about the side characters except MC's anomalies and Kyle and MC's cult) and there's so many mysteries I'm curious about and its the world building is pretty interesting.
WHAAAT!??? HOLY SHIIT!!!!OL I- wow. I did'nt expect that at all. I already loved the premise but the plot twist was just throwing itself at me like a brick!first princess Beritte (the og FL), Terresion something (the og ML) and the mage are all also regressed with Roy which is the tenth round. Second the princess isn't even a princess!!! HE'S A MAN!!! HE'S A FUCKING PRINCE!!! Third, that crown prince is not only also a regressor along them but is also a bro/sis con that's in love with og mc!? And FINALLY: THE OG MC MIGHT BE AN ML!?!?!?! CRAZY!?!?!
