One of the novels that made me love not only the mc and ml romance aspect but also the characters. Love the found family. At the start the mc might seem too scumy (which is smtg I fw) but he's much more than that. And mc is so charizzmatic that I'm a certified bai liu SIMP.

I LOVE GHG AND I CANNOT STRESS IT ENOUGH. I love this novel with every fiber in my body, it’s so well written. I fell in love with every character, and the antagonist is so compelling. I sincerely hope it soon gets licensed in English (and other languages) so more people can experience and enjoy this astounding story.

Bai Liu 😭😭❤️ People said it was going to be a comedy. I thought it would be funny enough—damn. But what’s funny? There’s more angst and trauma than I’ve ever read. If you plan to read it, prepare yourself mentally—I’m not kidding.

This is literally one of my favorite novels if not my favorite. I actually cannot stress enough how beautifully written the plot and the characters are!! I personally feel like it was a good mix of action and romance, with action being the main focus. I also feel like there’s a good amount of comedy in there too. I love the additional silly scenes and I absolutely love how the author writes this story!! It’s worth reading trustttt‼️‼️
