I LOVE GHG AND I CANNOT STRESS IT ENOUGH. I love this novel with every fiber in my body, it’s so well written. I fell in love with every character, and the antagonist is so compelling. I sincerely hope it soon gets licensed in English (and other languages) so more people can experience and enjoy this astounding story.

i’ve never been the biggest fan of modern romance stories but wfmas really stood out. Before I knew it when it hit the climax i was already far too attached to shenfan, the family struggles, social relationships/statuses, and overall interactions made this story far too really and easy to grasp. AND THE YEARNING OH THE YEARNING THE PAIN we all need a lover as devoted as Chen Jingshen is to Yu Fan, and we all need Yu Fan’s resilience and persistence.
my first danmei ever, best way to get introduced into this genre. Tgcf was the first novel that kept me up many night reading nonstop. It’s such a complete well-thought out story with endearing characters. Theres was not a single arc i didn’t enjoy(well the banyue arc could’ve definitely been shorter..), Xie Lian is one of the best and most unique main character ever, I love Hualian with every single bit in my heart, they will always be special to me. “body in abyss, heart in paradise”

only reading the manhwa.. i love taeui… at fist i despised ilay’s character but im growing into the idea that the only thing that makes him human is his love/fondness for taeui. overall interesting story 💞
Ghg is so masterfully written, every nook and cranny is written there to make sense, it gives the reader space to make their own conclusions, yet swiftly makes plot twist. Bai Liu is such an amazing mc, smart and every attribute in him is due to his undying love (that he can’t even remember). the romance in ghg is so wonderfully crafted, thought faint in actual interaction, everything ties back to them, they will always be each other’s first love and selflessly help each other through thick and thin. Dont even get me started on lu yizhan and bai six, PERFECT PARALLELS TO EACH OTHER LU YIZHAN IS SUCH AN ADMIRABLE CHARACTER HE DESERVES THE WORLD and bai six is single handedly the best and most compelling antagonist. okay im done for now… taliu defender for life
completed the manhwa, this was a ride. I really enjoyed how neither the ml or mc are “good” people, one is a stalker (even if he has his reasons) and the other treats people like objects with zero empathy. I ALSO REALLY APPRECIATE how the ml’s mental disorder was actual talked about… even though i think it could’ve been handled better..l realistically. Anywho, this was a very morally grey and emotional story i found really enjoyable and interesting to tackle. p.s every time i listen to “historia de un amor” and “Peperina” i think abt this story

only actual enemies to lovers i’ve read an it’s amazing, all the symbolism, the little acts of kindness.. it was truly a journey seeing them slowly fall for each other, grow, and stand for what they believe in. i love them sm, qijing defender for life. UPDATE IM SO HAPPY IT GOT LICENSED
