This novel has a really slow pace. It also touches on many sensitive topics (gender inequality, societal issues and ethics, etc.), but it is so well-written that I couldn’t help but marvel at author-nim’s extensive knowledge and well thought out approach. What moved me the most, though, are the beautiful relationships of the characters, especially the trio Lukas, Leonard and Elias—so pure yet so intimate. I experienced a roller coaster of emotions just reading this. I love this novel dearly.
