    Summary

A black poison with a blue tint swayed before my eyes. My brother, with a gentle smile, softly spoke. “Drink it now, Luka.” When I opened my eyes, I became an extra character destined to die at the hands of my brother. To make matters worse, I can’t even use magic and I’m universally disliked? First, let’s regain my strength.

lukas is very charismatic and intelligent. it is not shown through words on paper but through his actions, “show not tell” basically. authornim’s writing is incredibly thought-provoking. it’s definitely not a novel you can just skim through. the synopsis doesn’t do this novel justice. this work contains heavy topics, such as politics, ethical issues, religions, etc. if you’re looking for a traditional action fantasy story, this one is not for you. it’s a story about humanity.

If you’re looking for a “fantasy” novel, I believe this one is not for you! It’s a drama novel at its core, borrowing the theme of fantasy. The beginning is a bit typical to other transmigration stories out there. However, please give it a further read! The story is incredible and unique, focusing on ethics and humanity instead of fantasy elements! The writing is so descriptive and thought-provoking. I kid you not, author does such a great job it should be made into a published book! The writing makes you feel immersed into the scene. That you feel like you’re really there witnessing it all unraveling rather than what is just text on screen! Lukas (MC) is a genius. Seriously. No, you’re not just “told” he’s smart and intelligent. You get to witness the thought process and results that makes one go “Oh my god.” The author writes like a university professor. It’s so awe-inspiring!! The other characters are so charming as well! They are in no way dumbed-down or fade into the background for Lukas to shine! They are just as alive if not the most human out of all. My favorites were Elias and Rosalie! Their strong resolve towards the people and the world made me feel in awe. I genuinely love this story so much. Please give it a read if you find what I said interesting! PS: The foreshadowing is INSANE! It’s hidden in the smallest of details that made you stop and go “Wait” while reading future chapters!

Lukas Askanier is truly a phenomenal character. He’s too benevolent and empathetic for his own good, while being absurdly intelligent and logical. Lukas’s words have many times, if not always, touched my heart deeply. ˃ Therefore, that resistance proves it. You are walking an untrodden path, and you are on the right path. Even if today does not acknowledge you, tomorrow will! I truly believe the author should publish a book. Their writing is captivating and moving, even fleeting moments are captured fully with mere words. It feels as if you’re completely immersed in the scene.
