The relationship between YF and CJS feels incredibly natural. Their banter is funny, their chemistry is sweet, and the way they support each other through life's challenges never feels forced. Especially their dynamic i also really love the side characters as they are very fleshed and have depth in them and that's what makes me attached to them. What I liked most is that the story goes beyond romance, touching on loneliness, family struggles, and the messy process of growing up etc.. The angst hits hard... Especially during the separation arc (which imo is one of the times it's done well), but it makes the emotional payoff feel genuinely earned. I can never get enough of shenfan
this novel is SO GOOD. it had me completely hooked to the point of reading for almost six hours straight in one day even though i had uni classes. it got me back into reading novels and it just gave everything i could've ever wanted. its wholesome, angsty, a bit smutty towards the end, and just overall heartwarming. everyone read wfmas!!!
This is my MOST favorite modern danmei. I love it so so much, I love it beyond words. Binge read it in two days and I've reread it a couple of times since then. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry and it will most definitely make you pace around the room as you try to read as fast as you can to know what happens next. 10/10
