Wait for Me After School
The relationship between YF and CJS feels incredibly natural. Their banter is funny, their chemistry is sweet, and the way they support each other through life's challenges never feels forced. Especially their dynamic i also really love the side characters as they are very fleshed and have depth in them and that's what makes me attached to them. What I liked most is that the story goes beyond romance, touching on loneliness, family struggles, and the messy process of growing up etc.. The angst hits hard... <spoiler>Especially during the separation arc (which imo is one of the times it's done well), but it makes the emotional payoff feel genuinely earned.</spoiler> I can never get enough of shenfan

Ballad of Sword and Wine (Qiang Jin Jiu)
one of those novels that really wins me over with its politics and strategy more than anything else. I found the court intrigue and warfare super engaging, esp w/ how everything feels connected and constantly shifting, like you're always trying to figure out who's lying and who's three steps ahead. I really liked the main characters too. SZC and XCY are intense + sharp and honestly very entertaining together esp in how their relationship grows out of pure hostility into something much deeper. <spoiler>That said, I do think the romance moved a bit too suddenly at times, like it jumped from enemies to devotion without enough gradual buildup. I also felt a few side characters and plot threads were just left hanging without proper closure.</spoiler> Still, overall I think it's a really strong read with amazing political storytelling and it kept me hooked even when it got complicated or emotionally heavy

Her Mountain, Her Sea
I absolutely adored this story. Watching Chi Tang and You Yu slowly go from awkward classmates to best friends and eventually something more had me completely invested from start to finish. Their relationship feels so genuine and comforting, especially because they both come from difficult situations and find the support they've always needed in each other. The slice of life moments are ABSOLUTELY sweet and cozy, but the story also isn't afraid to explore heavier themes, which made the emotional moments hit even harder. By the end, I was so attached to these girls that I just wanted more of them😭😭😭

She is the Protagonist
genuinely funny and has a strong main CP, especially with Yu Ru Bing's chaotic personality and the CEO's calm contrast but the slow pacing and dragged out romance really got frustrating for me. There are great moments and the chemistry is solid but for me it takes way too long to move things forward, and some parts feel repetitive or unnecessarily stretched but ehhhhh go for it

Transmigrating Into The Heartthrob’s Cannon Fodder Childhood Friend
sweet mutual romance between SY and XS that feels natural and genuinely heartwarming. The school life setting is lively and funny and i like the chaotic forum/chat moments and side characters that make the world feel alive. The plot slowly builds toward a bigger mystery involving the system(?), and the twist at the end is satisfying and changes how you view earlier events. That said, the pacing is uneven + the system is underused for long stretches. The ending feels a bit rushed with some loose threads left hanging. Still though the main CP's chemistry and emotional payoff carry the story hard so it's a very enjoyable read i guess

He is That Guy
I really like the MMORPG aspects, especially the guild dynamics and in-game interactions. They were honestly one of the most fun parts to read. The MC is very mature, calm, and actually thinks things through instead of reacting emotionally, which made him really easy to like and follow. The ML, on the other hand, I kind of disliked at times; he's very clingy, childish, obsessive, and his behavior can get frustrating even if you understand his intentions. The angst part wasn't really necessary IMO and felt dragged out (especially w/ that damn identity of ML's). It's an easy read if you like slowburn romance, messy communication and a smart MC carrying most of the story

Desharow Merman
This f**king pissed me off. I'm not even trying to be dramatic, but reading this made my blood boil. The writing feels frustrating in all the worst ways. like the plot goes nowhere meaningful, the characters act in ways that make zero sense, and everything just feels poorly thought out. It’s the kind of story that makes you wonder if any real care went into it at all. I tried to give it a chance, but the more I read, the worse it got. At some point it stops being "maybe it'll improve" and just becomes exhausting. Honestly I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I beg you, don't waste your time on this dumpster and instead read ones that deserves an audience.

I’m a Hero, but My Brother is an Infinite Reincarnator
The idea with the hero and the infinite reincarnator brother is interesting at first and the family dynamic + POV shifts made it kind of fun to follow. The older brother being "lazy but secretly smart" and the younger brother’s reactions were probably the best parts. I like it but I had to drop because of JK's repeated sexist and misogynistic remarks. So annoying

ch. 238 — just a really fun read that somehow still makes sense the more you go on. The best part for me is def the family dynamic between the Holy Emperor Nate and his kids, like Nate himself is insanely overpowered but still acts like a tired but caring dad just trying to deal with his very weird children 😭. Morres (Third Prince) is basically the main trouble magnet but also super interesting to follow, Owen (First Prince) with his system stuff, Logan (Second Prince) the reincarnated knight type, Amelia (First Princess) who's all about regression and revenge, Sisley (Sixth Princess) with her saintess/prophetic book role + Kaien and the twins who are just straight up WILD in their own ways. Its honestly funny how every single sibling feels like a completely different genre dropped into one royal family. The start can be a bit confusing with all the POVs and information but after a while it clicks

ch. 81 — I absolutely adored this story. Watching Chi Tang and You Yu slowly go from awkward classmates to best friends and eventually something more had me completely invested from start to finish. There are great moments and the chemistry is solid but it takes way too long to move things forward, and some parts feel repetitive or unnecessarily stretched. Overall it's enjoyable in bursts, but ehhh not as tight or satisfying as the hype makes it seem

ch. 48 — messy and kind of hard to follow, and while the MC and ML's relationship can be interesting at times with the dynamic, it's not enough to carry everything. The story feels uneven and confusing (probably b3cause of the translation im reading) and instead of being hooked I mostly just felt lost. Dropping it because it's not really working for me(there's a way more polished translation now, but i wouldnt have the time to reread it). Plus ML is an obsessed fuck I feel worried for MC at times

108 / ? chs
ch. 108 — Starts with an interesting premise but quickly becomes a drag. The pacing is painfully slow, stretching simple developments way longer than needed, and the story often feels like it's going in circles instead of actually progressing. The cast is large but lacks impact, with many characters feeling forgettable despite the story pushing their importance. Even the MC's supposed intelligence gets repetitive after a while, and the heavy reliance on game mechanics doesn't really add anything fresh.. It often feels like the story is more interested in piling on details and characters than making them memorable, and the supposed depth never quite lands enough to justify the pace. imo it's not awful, for me it's just frustratingly bloated and harder to stay invested in than it should be

ch. 57 — Honestly I've been reading this novel for 2 years. Don't get me wrong, I love MMORPG BL novels but I just feel lazy to finish this one. It's still fun. still it's still cute with the misunderstandings and fluff stuff that kept me reading way longer than i planned but at some point it just starts to feel like I already get the vibe of where everything is going. The humor and cringe moments are definitely there and the couple is still cute watching them dig their own holes, I just haven’t felt that urge to rush through it anymore. It's good, just more of a "I'll come back to it later" read than something I'm dying to binge all the way through.........

ch. 98 — honestly just a really cute easy read. LFR is a bit timid but not annoying about it, and GKF's possessiveness feels more sweet than anything over the top. the ghost stuff ended up surprising me because it was actually more emotional than scary, and it fit nicely with the romance instead of distracting from it. I liked how light everything felt overall, and the interactions between the two leads were the best part. My only real issue is that it felt too short...... I finished it wanting more of them just living their lives and growing together esp after HS

102 / 862 chs
ch. 102 — I tried getting into taPOV but honestly its kinda overrated. The concept is cool, but the execution drags and the pacing feels all over the place. The MC is supposed to be smart, but sometimes it just feels forced like the plot is doing the work for him. Also… some parts are a bit cringe 😭 especially the inner monologues and "look how clever this is" moments. It just takes me out of the story. Overall not terrible, just not as good as people make it seem.

ch. 74 — UGHH SUCH A SOFT HEARTBREAK OF A STORY. The kind that starts gentle and then slowly ruins you in the quietest way possible. Lang Xingchen and Su Momo's relationship feels so sincere and fragile at the same time, like every little interaction carries weight because of everything hanging over them. The mix of supernatural mystery with romance makes it even more immersive but it's really the emotional pull between the two leads that hits the hardest. It's bittersweet in a way that lingers painful, but still really beautiful

84 / 84 chs
ch. 73 — (haven't read the SS yet) Chen Wan and Zhao Shengge feel distant at first like they're moving on completely different paths but there's always this undercurrent between them that never really goes away. A lot of it is built on observation, restraint, things left unsaid etc. Which makes the small moments between them stand out more than anything big or dramatic. The relationship develops slowly but it feels natural because nothing is rushed or exaggerated. By the time they actually understand each other it feels well earned and surprisingly grounding. i like 🙏

ch. 120 — a really fun VR gaming thing that leans more into adventure and hidden quests than serious esports so it's ez to enjoy once you stop expecting heavy competition scenes. MC Jiang Chen who is sharp, a bit bad tempered and insanely unlucky(me fr) in a way that somehow keeps things interesting, and ML Fang Jingxing, a shameless top tier player who basically enjoys teasing him while slowly getting way too invested. Their dynamic starts off... pretty tense and full of suspicion eh but it naturally shifts into trust and respect, and then romance without feeling forced. Most of the charm that captivated me comes from the wild ingame events (yes im a game genre addict), misunderstandings, and the way the two of them constantly end up dragging each other into trouble while still being ridiculously competent(its so funyn LMAO)

ch. 127 — starts off really slow, just small everyday moments between DJ and LWY, but that’s exactly what makes it hit later because i like watching them go from strangers to friends to something more in a really natural way that never feels forced. The early part is honestly the strongest, with really good banter and that quiet build of trust and it made me get attached without even realizing it.. both of them also have their own family problems and pressure going on in the background, which gives everything more weight than it first seems. After they get together though the story doesn’t feel the same anymore, the tension is gone, it feels more flat compared to before, and while they’re still sweet together and comfortable, it doesn’t really pull me in the same way the friendship stage did

ch. 127 — a beautifully written danmei that hooked me in the first half with its slice of life feel and the friends to lovers dynamic between the two leads, where their banter and quiet moments made their relationship easy to get attached to. The non linear storytelling and slow reveal of their past also kept things really interesting and made me want to keep reading. But in the second half( esp the past arc's ending) it didn't hit as hard for me as I expected, since it felt a bit rushed and the emotional payoff didn't fully match all the buildup. Even so I still really liked the characters and cared about them a lot (the story overall still left a strong impression on me, just not quite enough to feel like a perfect 10)

ch. 133 — I really like the MMORPG aspects, especially the guild dynamics and in-game interactions. They were honestly one of the most fun parts to read. The ML, on the other hand, I kind of disliked at times; he's very clingy, childish, obsessive, and his behavior can get frustrating even if you understand his intentions. The angst part wasn't really necessary IMO and felt dragged out (especially w/ that damn identity of ML's). ch. 55 — such a comforting read for me.. Lin You and Lu Qingyan were already basically acting like a couple way before anything officially happened, like they’d been glued to each other since childhood and everyone else could probably see it before they did. I really liked how Lin You comes off a bit dense and straightforward but still super endearing, while Lu Qingyan is more quiet + patient, and just completely devoted to him in that LOWKEYY way that makes it obvious he’s been in love for a long time. Their dynamic didn’t feel forced at all eh it was more like watching two people slowly realize what was already there, just with a little "pheromone push" to finally tip them over the edge. What I enjoyed most was how fluffy and low drama everything stayed, with their families basically accepting them right away and no unnecessary misunderstandings dragging things out. It’s not some super deep or intense plot, but for me it’s exactly the kind of story that feels warm and makes you smile while reading because Lin You and Lu Qingyan are just so naturally good together KYA

ch. 105 — this was honestly such a fun read I didn't expect to enjoy it this much 😭 The MC is basically a walking magnet for drama and gossip without even trying, and it just keeps getting funnier how he always ends up in the middle of everything. The ML is what really surprised me though.. He's actually normal?? Like not cold nor obsessive, just a chill and kind rich guy who feels very grounded, which makes their dynamic super refreshing. The whole story is just light and chaotic plus it's easy to read, with lots of silly moments and characters that don't feel annoying or overdone. I ended up just reading "one more chapter" before going to bed until suddenly I was way deeper than I planned because it’s that entertaining and stress free LMAAOAOOO

40 / 40 chs
ch. 40 — I don't even know how i managed to finish this? stockholm syndrome, blackmail, abuse, rape, kidnapping, etc. you name it. This is only good for smut, turn your brain off. At the end MC is pregnant and gives birth.. This getting an HE scares me.

106 / 106 chs
ch. 106 — The FL is controlling and pushy to the point it stops feeling romantic, and the MC has basically no backbone, so she just gets dragged along the whole story. The so called "relationship" feels uneven and uncomfortable instead of sweet or interesting. On top of that, the pacing is a mess. The beginning drags forever then the ending rushes through everything like it’s trying to finish as fast as possible. Muryong Shi more like Muryong SHIT. i don't even know how i managed to finish this one. such a waste of time.

93 / 93 chs
ch, 94 — I finished this with the biggest smile on my face 😭💕 the chemistry between the leads was so good, and I loved how their relationship developed naturally through all the longing, misunderstandings, and emotional moments. The writing felt warm and immersive, making it easy to get attached to the characters and root for them the entire time. There were so many scenes that made my heart ache in the best way, and the payoff was absolutely worth it

115 / 115 chs
ch 115 — ACTUALLY insane in the best way, like it starts off as a band competition story but then slowly turns into this whole emotional mess in the best possible sense, Nan Yi and Qin Yiyu are completely addictive together with how messy and intense and weirdly devoted their dynamic gets, what i love the most is that the performances are not just "cool stage moments brrr" but ACTUALLY feel emotional like they're spilling the characters' feelings out in real time, the revenge plot is quietly sitting in the background the whole time and then suddenly starts hitting harder and harder until it kind of takes over everything, and even with a big cast and multiple bands it somehow never feels confusing because everyone is distinct enough to remember, but honestly the main thing is just how EVERYTHING romance, music, DRAMA keeps building on itself until it becomes impossible to put down FUCKKKKKKKK I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE GROUP BAND DYNAMIC UGH UGH

39 / 46 chs
ch. 39 — ZJ and WJY's relationship feels forced and pretty bland, and after they get rescued the story quickly becomes boring. The plot starts jumping around a lot with constant perspective shifts making it hard to follow and killing any real flow. Their relationship development feels inconsistent too.. Things escalate in a way that doesn't feel earned, and ZJ especially comes off impulsive and unrealistic even in his "CEO" role. Overall it loses direction fast and just isn't that engaging after that point

ch. 209 — does a great job mixing thriller and romance without feeling overwhelming + world feels unique compared to a lot of novels in the genre. What kept me hooked and liked was Yu An and Zhao Ran's relationship. They're both obsessive in their own ways, but their dynamic is surprisingly sweet and entertaining to watch. Plus i also liked that Yu An stays true to his personality throughout the story instead of suddenly becoming a completely different person. Pacing slows down a bit near the end and some of the bigger world conflicts could have been explored more but overall I had a great time reading it and found it hard to stop once I got invested

ch 9 — about an antique shop where old items have memories and stories connected to people from the past. Each part focuses on a different object, showing small emotional stories. I love the idea as it's interesting and sometimes touching, but the story can feel a bit all over the place since it keeps switching between different times and characters (makes sense since it's a short story collection, which I have no problem with) sometimes I think GBZ and SBL are married couples LOLOL

ch. 57 — Don't even think about reading this shit. started off so damn cute I actually thought I found a slice of life fluff romance to relax with. Like, finally something wholesome for once. And then out of NOWHERE it just goes completely off the rails and turns into a toxic mess that feels like it was written by someone who dropped the plot and sanity at the same time. The characters stop communicating like normal humans and just keep making stupid frustrating choices over and over again. Like for fuck's sake just TALK already. What starts as sweet interactions gets dragged through so much unnecessary darkness and discomfort that it feels less like a story and more like emotional whiplash for no reason. And the worst part? It doesn't even handle the heavy stuff in a satisfying way. It just dumps it on you and expects you to sit there and take it. And the way they got a HE? These guys never fail to dissapoint me. Atleast theyre meant for eachother considering how toxic they both are. Honestly I regret even picking it up. This is a straight up trainwreck pretending to be deep. I pray for the author, please stop.
