oh my god… literally life changing… it took me about a year and a half to get through this because i kept putting it off knowing it would control my entire life but decided to binge the last hundred chapters or so in one day. everyone should read this, i truly think it has something for everyone. 240j forever <4

this novel is SO GOOD. it had me completely hooked to the point of reading for almost six hours straight in one day even though i had uni classes. it got me back into reading novels and it just gave everything i could've ever wanted. its wholesome, angsty, a bit smutty towards the end, and just overall heartwarming. everyone read wfmas!!!

i absolutely love this novel! i started reading because i loved the manhwa so much and i couldn't wait for updates so i binged this all in a few days. yeowoon and jigu's dynamic is so hilarious, and i appreciate how the novel goes more in depth into yeowoon's thoughts and feelings while everything is occurring because you miss out on that in the manhwa. their silly misunderstandings never fail to make me laugh. read it!!!!

i read the manhua first and it was just so adorable that i absolutely fell in love with them and needed more. the novel is so cute, and really hilarious at times that i feel the manhua missed out on so even if you read the manhua i would still recommend reading the novel!!

ok mixed feelings about this. overall, a really cute love story between two people who suffered traumatic experiences that ended in permanent injuries on the same day in their youths. i kind of wish the story had gone more into that, the coincidence of their accidents happening on the same day and maybe even gone a little supernatural with it idk. i also wish there had been more focus on shen chuhan. ok, we get it, he’s a great guy who loves and takes care of lin ting. but who is he aside from that. hell, what is his job?? (no really, did i miss the reveal or does he just happen to know every other character in this somehow?) <spoiler> the ending kind of threw me off and is what i have the most mixed feelings about. on the one hand, as someone with pretty poor vision, i would love to be able to get surgery to fix it (if i could afford it) so i can understand lin ting’s motive behind wanting the surgery. i do, however, think it would’ve made more sense and would have been better for the story to simply cut that ending out. i don’t feel it was necessary, especially because it was so abrupt at the end and we barely got to see any interaction afterwards. i think the argument that this is pushing a narrative of “curing” disabilities is a valid criticism, though i don’t really see it that way personally as again i would choose the same thing. regardless, the plotline was out of place with the rest of the plot, at least from my point of view. i would’ve preferred to see more of their relationship after marriage and the navigation of their physical relationship because we got to see pieces of that but nothing concrete. </spoiler> again, this was very cute and fluffy, probably unrealistically so, but still i enjoyed it quite a bit. wanted more of some things, and less of others, but a solid 6.5/10 for me i would say.
