finished the whole novel in two days and i can confidently say that this is one of my favourite rom-com bl ever! yeo-woon and ji-gu fits each other perfectly and the secondhand embarrassment i get every time leaves me giggling and kicking my feet over them. definitely a recommended read!

Ahhhh my oblivious king yeowoon. Loved the interactions and cute moments >_< The transition from jigu hating to being a tsuendre was soo smooth Btw I recommend the song "fall on love alone" by stacey. It fit the later half so well.

i absolutely love this novel! i started reading because i loved the manhwa so much and i couldn't wait for updates so i binged this all in a few days. yeowoon and jigu's dynamic is so hilarious, and i appreciate how the novel goes more in depth into yeowoon's thoughts and feelings while everything is occurring because you miss out on that in the manhwa. their silly misunderstandings never fail to make me laugh. read it!!!!

This novel is such a good vibe with a freaky vibe hahahaha. Even though sometimes you gotta suffer a little bit jussstt a tiny bit but it's gonna be alright since they're obviously so adorable. i really liked the manhwa, so i thought i would read the novel too to have extra fun… but that was a disappointment ㅇㅅㅇ i thought things would get better at the end, but the characters remained with zero chemistry… it just felt like jigu was madly in love and yeowoon was… i don’t know? just entertaining him? jigu was also so cringe and the first smut scene made me really uncomfortable, since it was made very clear that the mc wasn’t enjoying it at all T^T but anyway! i had SOME fun with it, so i would say to give it a try…? absolutely LOVED the gaming elements + the side characters (pls pls pls read the side story love games!!! sunset and meowie are my everything!!!)

Just like everyone else says, this novel is really adorable. Well, I enjoyed the in-game interactions a bit more in the manhwa. Regardless, this was still very fun.

Started this after season 1 of the manhwa had ended because I was desperate to see how the rest of the story played out. But oh my GOD this is one of my favourites of any stories ever. The manhwa is good but the way the novel just gives so much more depth to the characters. I fell in love with Yeowoon even more because of this. His inner dialogue and actually seeing more on how he felt that wasn’t fully explored in the manhwa made this so worth the time to read. Please read it if you haven’t!!
