A lot of angst throughout the entire story, but it turned out all happy in the end. There’s R-19 at the end of side stories, if you’re wondering. <spoiler>If you want to know when Yoon Seo’s inability to be healed end, it’s near the end of the side stories as well. So, yeah, he suffered with it the entire main chapters.</spoiler>

Lee Sa-young is like a princess waiting for his Prince Charming to the rescue. I guess having a way-too-strong partner makes him often overshadowed lol. Sometimes I forget he's 2nd rank.

This is my first horror genre for a webnovel. Now, I’m not a horror fan or expert, so I can’t speak much on this aspect. However, it’s safe to say I definitely got the chills while reading this. The writing format is so creative and well executed. The suspense is incredible, granted there’s a bit of humor along the way. Have I also mentioned how much I love the characters? Every character of the main cast is wonderful, whichever side they’re on. I specifically love Kim Soleum and Hyunmoo 1 (Black Tortoise 1) team. They have such great bond…

Part 1 was undoubtedly fun for me. Part 2, however, feels a little repetitive. My pet peeve is the writing style of this novel, though. It lacks substance and depth. That said, if you like action-packed novels with found family, this one is for you.

It’s been so long since I finished this. If my memory serves me right, there was an arc that I felt so uncomfortable with (TW: SA), and it went on for an irritatingly long time too. But overall, I liked the novel.

This feels more like an action fantasy story than a BL, not that it’s a bad thing. However, if you’re looking for BL elements, then I’ll warn you beforehand that it’s extremely little compared to the action aspect of the novel.
