Summary
Zhao Jing traveled to an island for a wedding but was unfortunately caught in a tsunami. He sustained minor injuries, which left him with limited mobility and in need of basic care. The only person left by his side was a well-known socialite in his circle, someone constantly trying to curry favor with him. For the sake of his recovery, Zhao Jing reluctantly granted Wei Jiayi the opportunity to get closer to him. dropped at 80%. i just really couldn’t connect with the characters and, even though i was already past half of the story, i still couldn’t understand how they even came to like each other and why they were in a relationship. it didn’t make any sense to me, because i feel like they have zero chemistry and jiayi was just… going with the flow, i guess? he never seemed genuinely interested in zhao jing and for the entire time it felt like he didn’t have a will of his own. the whole miscommunication between them also annoyed me and i kept cringing at almost every interaction… i couldn’t keep going, finishing this was almost like a torture. the characters also felt too bland, they have zero personality traits.
