Erylotte is the definition of a badass villainess who delivers cider habitually, in the most refreshing ways. Alexis is, quite frankly, the epitome of perfection.
Calypso deserved better adults. In every timeline, including her last one.
A common trope but second chance healing is still healing.
Healing, heartbreaking but also heartwarming.
One person. The significant difference of having ONE person on your side versus having none is depicted so well in this plot.
Hmmm, tbh this was more detrimental to my psyche than healing but she forgave him so I'm sure it's healing someone's inner child, just not mine... BUT her mom's reaction to Claude was THE RIGHT REACTION. That scene alone is why this book made this list.
One of my favorite plotlines with an abundance of cider. Ailette out here healing everyone's inner child tbh.
10/10 Regression story! Came for Firentia's bold & brainy schemes but stayed for every green flag character she made into her people. Gallahan, Alexis, the twins, Lorraine, Clerivan, etc. Ugh, so gooood. Also Alexis' solution to Tia's dreams-- BRAVO!
