The premise is pretty unique for a hunterverse! I really liked how it started off with exploring the MC's trauma and how the hate affected him. However, I think it lost a lot of steam towards the last half of the novel. 😭 This part really peeved me: it starts out in present time with flashbacks woven in between, and I really wanted to know how the MC & ML's relationship developed and etc... But their relationship is kind of glossed over...
