One word. Amazing. The complexity of the main characters and the varying vibes of the side characters was amazing. This novel parodies old typical CN female lead novels. But instead of making it a comedy the story tries to actually properly justify the actions of the characters. I love the mc. He's logical, not kind nor evil, has a developed worldview, a leader who encourages his underlings to be competent over the security of his position, but he also has flaws. We also get a reader pov.
Morally gray MC and his loyal dog ML. Plus where else will u find a demonic sect overlord as interested in someone else's drama like this one. Plus all characters have unique personality and are funny in their own way.
