5/10 there are a couple of things that make this hard to feel immersed. One of them is that I don't understand why the Love Interest likes the MC and why she is so obsessed with having offspring when she is fine just dropping them somewhere and never thinking about it again. If she's so obsessed because it's an animal instinct, then how would that work, since she's quite human compared to other animals? By that I mean she's human enough that she isn't controlled by her instincts. Now, why is she so obsessed with the MC? She's only known her for a little while, and she's already rejected her, so why does she think of her as her mate? Because of all this, whenever I read, I find myself with countless questions and not in a good way.
