Beaten by her father and bullied at school, a desperate girl finds herself with nowhere left to turn. Cornered by life, she steps into a small tattoo shop at the end of an alley—a place rumored to be run by a fierce, hot‑tempered street punk everyone avoids. Clutching a crumpled ten‑yuan note, she asks him for protection. He laughs through a haze of cigarette smoke, amused by her fearlessness, dismissive of her tiny offering. But because of that ten yuan, he ends up protecting her for the next ten years.
