Summary

It's one of the rare stories where the action, pacing and tension is well balanced. The despair experienced by the party is very well described without making it exaggerated. The romance build up is a slow and not the dramatic type, but it's to my taste. Everyone has distinct personalities that stay consistent, with character progression at a slow but realistic pace.
PLEASE read this novel. i'm not good at reviews but this story is so so so good. the dynamics between the mc (yohan) & the ml ( hyunmook) are insanely satisfying, ntm the rest of the team is very endearing as well. the horrors of the abyss are portrayed really well, especially when the team members are corrupted or the flood is nearby. so pleaaase give it a try
In this you get a crybaby being brave and doted on, human appliances, farming and some horror :) Update: it's so good!! theyre all so funny and cute, i love seeing the interactions between the team and mc, so much found family vibes (sometimes bordering into a cult following) It's really funny seeing through mc's pov cuz it's just a survival + farming simulator + sitcom while in other povs, it's horror and angst I love how gentle and mischievious ml is towards mc, all he wants to do is to dote on his little yangyang 🥺 Anyways I recommend this, if you're looking for found family vibes and comedy with a splash of horror
I recommend!! This is my favorite hunterverse novel and it’s really the only one i understand !! I love the dynamic between the mc and the ml too /(˶‾᷄ ⁻̫ ‾᷅˵)
─ ch. 173/173 | 6.0/10.0★ for how popular this is, i wasn’t as impressed as I expected to be. nothing about the novel felt outright flawed, but i found myself getting bored at times. i also don’t think the relationship and emotional development between the mc and ml was written very well. i never really understood the ml’s perspective on when and why he started liking the mc, so their mutual relationship felt abrupt. if he fell in love because the mc saved him, i wish the writing had done more to show that moment landing for him. i also wasn’t super attracted to the ml (though I was into his crazy?form, so maybe that’s a problem with me). the mc though is a cutie. i loved him. hes a sheep fr fr.
