I Delayed My Death Because of a Will
For what it’s worth, it had a nice buildup. The ending (or final arc) was, however, unsatisfactory for me. Even the explanation for why dungeons happened was a bit lackluster. The R-19 part is only in the side story if you’re wondering. It’s at the very final moment (they pushed the R-19 part into the middle of the main story for the manhwa adaptation).

Got Dropped into a Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work
괴담출근 is love, 괴담출근 is life. I adore this novel so much. Every arc is filled with great tension and complexity. There are foreshadowing moments scattered across the narrative if you pay enough attention. Not a single character is soulless for me. They are all well-written. My fave is always going to be Agent Choi. I love playful and outspoken justice-pursuers in novels.

Trash of the Count’s Family
This is one of my first webnovels. I had a lot of fun reading before. However, now that I have read more than 1100 chapters, I start to notice a few things. There are many things that left me dissatisfied with it, but the biggest problem remains the writing. It’s very dry, and a bit childish as well. It greatly lacks sensory details and emotional depth. There were unnecessary sentences, some way too repetitive. I cannot connect with the novel even when there’s a tearjerker scene. PS: If the word limit allowed, I would have talked about the good of this novel too.

Necromancer Survival
This novel has many cases of sexual assault from not one, but several characters. Gyeong has a lot of people (perverts) obsessed with him. Do note that he has intimate scenes with not just the male lead but many others as well. In my opinion, the male lead is mostly a yellow flag, almost red even. If you cannot handle all of these, please do yourself a favor and not read this.

Guide to Training Disciples for the Reincarnated
It felt much more like an open-end for relationships. It didn’t seem like Yasha truly ended up with anyone. This novel has greater emphasis on plot and found family than actual romance. If you’re looking for a romance-filled story, this is not for you. If you’re looking for “plot first, romance second,” this might just be the one.

I'm Going to Hell After Killing the Author
It’s a well-written novel. Misogyny is a problem often discussed in this novel, so beware if you’re not one for heavy topics. I don’t usually read novels with romantic subplot, but the one here was done pretty nicely. Oh, by the way, it’s not hetero love, it’s girls love.

Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (ORV)
This novel is just as great as its popularity implies. The very concept of it is unique. ORV is well-written with an excellent main cast. I love everyone within the KDJ’s company, and the ones not in it. My favorite character was Jung Heewon. Watching her grow slowly but surely was simply wonderful.

Trapped in a Webnovel as a Good-For-Nothing
The ending left a bad taste in my mouth. The villains weren’t intimidating at all. If anything, they posed more threat in the beginning and middle of the novel. Introducing new lore at the final arc was not a good move. The buildup for the final fight was also poorly executed. There’s a lot of bromance between Yooseong and OG protag, if you’re curious, though. This was a mildly interesting novel to read in the span of 1 day.

Guide to Regression for Supporting Roles
Author-nim’s previous work was a true harem, so I expect no less for this one. Almost every character seemed to be obsessed with Seohoo/Cover. I think the number of male leads keeps on increasing with every arc (to be fair, the previous work also had a plentiful amount of love interest, even the ones not mentioned in the synopsis). As for the plot, there’s not really anything note-worthy. It’s the usual hunterverse story with a splash of BL.

How to Survive as the Second Son of a Mage Family
마차살 is in my hall of greatest moments I want to relive over and over again. The plot, prose, and characters are phenomenal. They make me want to examine author-nim’s brain to see how they could have come up with such a masterpiece. Every character is woven with great depth and complexity. They are so very “human.” As for me, Elias stole my heart. He’s the living embodiment of freedom and justice. Elias my beloved kind-hearted soul.

Reason for dropping: Writing/prose. Will I come back? If I don’t have anything else to read at the moment, maybe.
