I enjoyed reading it and ended up finishing it in one go. <spoiler>The MC has a tragic past because his family exploited him. He always longed for their love and acceptance, but he never received it—not even until the moment he died. He uses those painful experiences as fuel for his acting. Even though he was an old man in his previous life and is now possessing a teenager’s body, deep down he’s still a young, lost boy trying to understand family and relationships—things that seem normal to modern people but feel completely new and precious to him. I’ve read up to chapter 25, and I’m really enjoying it so far. The MC was a genius pianist and painter from a young age, but the pressure and expectations left him traumatized, causing him to withdraw from the world for 15 years. When he finally steps outside and begins traveling around the country, he meets different people who unintentionally help him rediscover his love for art. Along the way, he also finds a new talent as a singer-songwriter.

Please don’t be fooled by the short and depressing description. It’s actually a very light and fun read. The MC was an archbishop in a fantasy world in his past life. He also secretly liked drawing erotic pictures, which was strictly prohibited by his profession, and he kept this secret until the day he died. He then woke up as a normal college student in modern-day Korea. After discovering webtoons, he decided to unleash his long-hidden desire to the fullest since there was nothing restricting him anymore like there was in his past life. Basically, he’s kind of an “otaku”—if they even had that term in another world, lol.

It’s a heartwarming story about an MC who lives a peaceful life alone in the wilderness with nature and his adorable animal companions. If you like animal-raising novels, relaxing slice-of-life stories, and watching the MC slowly develop his land, this is definitely for you.
