    White Horse Neighing in the West Wind by Jin Yong was first serialized in the newspapers in 1961. Li Wenxiu, a young Han Chinese maiden, loses her parents in the Gobi Desert while escaping from a group of bandits who are after a map of the Gaochang labyrinth.
