As dusk draws the line, yin and yang divide. When the flesh of evil spirits crowded out from the earth's crevices, when mountain-like masses of flesh appeared everywhere. Some were terrified, some worshipped, some burned incense and made offerings. And some tasted it—huh, not bad? Thus, the flesh became crops, greedily harvested and fought over by people, with ghosts questioned, spirits consulted, and ancestors worshipped. Hu Ma was reborn from fear, consuming the sacred fungus, nurturing the fire within, enduring countless hardships, struggling to survive amidst the pervasive evil spirits, and then... ...What? I am the evil spirit?
