When the protagonist, Last, was six years old, he was attacked by a monster and saved by Riffel, a top-ranked explorer. This encounter inspired Last to aspire to become an explorer himself, and he went to the dungeon city where Riffel resided to receive a role (roll) from the gods. However, the role he was granted had the lowest ability values and no skills to manifest, making him a “weakling.” Still, Last did not give up and continued to hunt goblins alone, believing in a “class change” that occurs when one masters their role, in order to fulfil the promise he made with Riffel. And in the moment when twenty-five years of effort finally bore fruit, an unprecedented evolution began!
