Forty-four years ago, a devastating conflict known as the Valbanill War swept across the land. Among the war’s most fearsome weapons was the Demon Contract, a dark pact that allowed a human to sacrifice their body and transform into a powerful demon. As the destruction wrought by these contracts became apparent, the surviving nations forged a peace and collectively banned the use of the Demon Contracts, determined to prevent further devastation.
