currently on chap 131 TW: suicidal tendencies and self harm (it gets mentioned/written about quite often) In this, you get Mcs with scrunched up morals and Mls who are hypocrites but they both come together to influence each other into being a better version of themselves with alot of trouble in their way. Mc is just a feral cat that was mistreated so badly he went murderous and Ml is a hypocrite golden retriever getting hit with a karma beam. Altho Mc isn't all that good himself either but he starts to improve himself with guidance from Ml (mostly by circumstance cuz Ml just wont leave him alone) and also kicks Ml into becoming better and stronger, albeit in an extreme way. At the start of the story, it felt like a school setting where mc and ml begin to form a closer bond (to mc's chagrin) and escalates into mc actually making ‘friends’ (well as friendly as u can get with someone who is trying to get over his classism and was kinda involved with the bullying) and being a teen in general. But at some point, the story kicks off and things start to fall apart - Ml is dealt a huge blow and is left to fumble about while Mc plays Civ. It gets better and more hopeful further in the story but boy does it take quite a toll on everyone involved
