Doha, who had once turned a blind eye to a life as a Guide, vows to enter the Center and become the greatest Guide possible after his younger brother, who had longed to be an Esper, dies a miserable death. Returning to the training center to secure his admission, Doha sinks into despair over his poor guiding abilities. It is then that he crosses paths with Jesan, an S-class Esper trainee notorious for his arrogant and overbearing personality. After persuading (or rather, threatening) Jesan—who had been training in secret using Chaos Energy—Doha begins practicing his guiding on him. Despite Jesan's cold exterior, he subtly looks after Doha, and Doha finds himself gradually falling for him....
