Sunset Warrior Chant

The sky was a dull gray, and the hillside was overrun with weeds. Every so often, a hot breeze would swirl into a small whirlwind, sending dry, yellow leaves dancing across the landscape. A chubby little boy lay underneath a large tree, his eyes closed in deep sleep. He wore a light gray coarse cloth vest and deep blue shorts, his legs crossed at the ankles. An old, tattered straw hat covered his forehead, and his chest rose and fell rhythmically.
