    Summary

    On his way home from a New Year’s Eve visit to a nearby shrine, which is also the home of his friend’s parents, Rentaro Hasumoto finds a two-meter-tall rabbit crying. Apparently, the rabbit had come from the moon. Unable to bear the sight of Genda, a large rabbit with a mallet that apparently came from the moon, Rentaro tries to return him to the moon somehow.
