Ji-on, a high school student who lives alone with his maternal grandfather, has one special ability. It is the ability to see and communicate with the spirits of the dead, or 'ghosts'. Ji-on has been using this ability to help those who are unable to leave the afterlife because they still have attachment to this world. Although he is constantly nagged by his grandfather because of this, Ji-on, who has a special mission for this work, cannot ignore them and always takes off his shoes and goes out to help them.
