Dane, a rookie actor and complete novice, receives a proposal one day from his mother, who also serves as his agent. The deal was simple: if he could persuade the reclusive eccentric known as the "Great Actor" to appear in a movie, he would be granted a camera test for a supporting role in that film. Though it was a blow to his pride, it was an offer he couldn't refuse.
