Wu Wenyu sprints through a company hall with a missing card in her bag and a sealed laptop under her arm, while her name keeps landing in the wrong place. She looks weak on purpose, because weak people get fewer questions, and questions are dangerous when you have already lived this world once before under a different mission. Then a girl from her last cycle appears again, calm and sharp, and Wenyu remembers that every kind choice she made before left a mark someone else still carries. The card, the unopened laptop, and the certificate in her car are all tied to the same bad loop, and the girl she keeps trusting may be the only one who can walk it with her.
