Liar game

The story revolves around Kanzaki Nao, a college student who becomes embroiled in a game called the Liar Game Tournament (LGT), where players use deception to win and cheat other players of their money. Early on, she enlists the help of ex-convict and genius swindler Akiyama Shinichi. The pair battle through many rounds of the LGT, and each time they think the game is over, they are forced to return again with higher stakes. Though initially unwilling participants, the pair choose to continue on in the game in order to discover the true nature of the organization behind it and to try to free other participants from the LGT and the debts they have incurred.
