My envisioned place in high school life was clear: to observe a rom-com unfold around the main character and his heroines. I longed to see childhood friends and classmates vying for his affection, competing fiercely, and perhaps even witnessing the outcome of their rivalry up close. Yet, it seems before I can settle into watching this rom-com drama, the heroine have already taken a dislike to me.
