Living alone on a lonely mountain, the ancient dragon Henesys one day receives a child as a sacrifice from humans. Henesys, annoyed by the sudden burden of this human offering, tries to chase the child away by giving him chores, but instead, the child trusts and follows him. Unable to cast the child out, Henesys names him Ed and they begin to live together. Just as they become accustomed to each other, the humans who offered the child as a bride come to take him back. For Ed's future, Henesys sends him away, but soon feels emptiness in his absence. Five years later, the child, now grown, returns to find Henesys... "I've come to take my husband.
