I Am the Girl Upstairs

Haeun could read every hidden plan in the room, but she could not leave the dorm where she had died. The girl who should have become a rumor instead spent her days watching students, teachers, and cleaners through the walls, collecting the little truths people never said out loud. That gift kept her safe. It also made her hate Lee Dojin, the survey worker who came to mark the dorm for removal and carried the same cold face as the night she lost everything.
