"A story of childhood sweethearts growing up together with the times. Yang Jia and Qian Yuan were born on the same day in the 1980s. They were neighbors, sharing the same rocking car as toddlers, wearing each other's pants, attending the same elementary school, and growing up side by side. From innocent children to love-struck teenagers, they came to know and love each other over the long years, facing similar societal issues of their era and their own unique family problems.
