Honestly, Mc and the gags carried the story for me. His retorts to the Mls is pretty entertaining and helps to lessen the frustration (albiet not by much) of the Mls's treatment of him. It takes a while (around 50 chps) for them to start to develop feelings for Mc but by then, they've racked up alot of karma and are struggling to make up for it (aside from that 1 sus Ml that has been consistently kind to Mc since the start). But once it starts, the progress flow pretty naturally and actually makes sense, altho it's mainly cuz Mc is quite benevolent to them despite all the hardships he had to suffer thro at first. Also the reveal for one of the Ml is pretty wild lmao, like he's a fkin cult leader??? but hes a good cult leader, not a bad one and he's treating it like a 2nd job lol? The cult doesnt even feel like a cult, more like a company lmao? honestly he's my fav out of the 3 - consistently kind, mature and pays attention to everyone's needs and well being, absolutely the empress in mc’s harem Not a ot4 but a harem - the mls are a mess, theyre constantly having cat fights over mc and doing shit that gets them in trouble but its entertaining lmao, theyre so stupid!! At least mc has a reign on them somewat world setting wise - it's basically like soulmates + espers and guides just without any powers involved
