Children of the Grassland [1960s]

In 1960, due to natural disasters, a severe famine swept across the nation. With boundless compassion, Inner Mongolia stepped forward, voluntarily applying to the state to care for children on the brink of starvation. Thus, three thousand orphans entered Mongolia. Su Ningna, an office worker who had collapsed from overwork, woke up to find herself transformed into a three-year-old girl standing at a train station, about to depart for Inner Mongolia. She was adopted by a Mongolian couple, becoming their child and embarking on a new life on the grasslands. Her new parents were wonderful people.
