Prince Heon of Ailgis is dragged away to the Empire as a hostage, almost as if he were being sold. However, as soon as he arrives in the Empire, he receives news that his own country has fallen. While searching for a way to escape the Emperor's harem at any cost, Heon meets a man with shimmering reddish-blonde hair at a lake located within the harem of Ashika. “So, you were just an ordinary human.” “Why do you sound so disappointed?! Of course I'm human, you lunatic!” The man, who abruptly threw Heon into the lake, notices the 'spirit' that Heon had been keeping a secret. He proposes a deal: if Heon helps him find the person he has been searching for, he will help Heon escape the harem....
