In the distant future, after the end of World War III, Earth no longer exists as individual nations, but enters a system of three major powers: the European Confederation of Independent States, the Asian Federation, and the Pan-American Republic. Each of them pursued space projects, but faced limitations within the solar system and came to a halt. The space projects soon declined, and they settled for virtual reality technology. In this reality, ‘Julian’ meets the space cowboy ‘Z’ in order to leave Earth and escape to Saturn.
