my fav of all time omg.😭 from 2021 till this day 🤍 i love this Bl so much man. this book is so funny with all the miscommunications between the two, that eventually leads to them falling in love ❕ such a good book, 10/10!! omg, watching jigu a powerful, battle-scarred guild member suddenly drop into the quiet life of his clueless, introverted neighbor is comedy gold. The way jigu reacts to yeo woon in normal situations like grocery shopping or using a smartphone or just seeing him out in public, and always concluding “he’s definitely stalking me” gets me every time. and dont even get me started on yeo woon, who clearly is being just a kind neighbor trying to make a friend out of jigu. this book is truly amazing, misunderstanding, comedy, and subtle romantic tension that kept me hooked and entertained. on my ‼️READ‼️ list for sure!!
another ten!! 🤍 i just finished a home far away, and it moved me in such an unexpected, quiet way. its one of those stories that dosent bombard u or shout, but instead whispers something deep and makes a beautiful connection with fiction and the human heart. th romance between them is so tender, so full of unspoken longing, that i found myself aching for them. what touched me most was how the story gently showed that home isnt always a place, it can be a person, a moment of understanding, a quiet presence that makes the world feel a little less heavy. on an even deeper note, alan being christian made my heart burn, he continued to turn back to christ, even though he was sexually assaulted by the pastor, he carried guilt and shame, and believed that God would one day bring him peace. instead of being brought to peace, it brought him his source of pain and silence. which felt awfully close to home. im gonna end this here, i could ramble about him for hours. please read this!! 🤍 (unless u don’t like doomed books)📚
the summer hikaru died affected me on a deeper emotional level than i expected tbh, while as it presents itself as a supernatural horror story, at its core its a powerful exploration of identity, grief, and the fear of change. their relationship has such a silent intensity that the bond them becomes the emotional core of the story, even as when their reality begins to unravel around them. on a more personal level, it made me reflect on how we deal with loss, but not just in the literal sense, but in how people can change or drift away and still be physically present. The stories eerie tone and emotional complexity stayed with me long after finishing the book making me think about the ability to accept someone, or to let them go. 🤍 this is a ten out of ten manga, and i am so prepared for the anime. give this book a read!
