I Ruined the Script of the Overpowered Dragon
A refreshing novel with a strong female lead teaching her junior sister, defeating evil, and quietly unraveling a mystery about her fate. The “original FL” becomes a beloved sister figure, while the “ML” fades into a resigned side role. Light romance, mostly missed connections. It’s a slice of life with intrigue, rare platonic soulmates, and a nice subversion of usual rival tropes. A few absurd moments, but overall a great read if you’re tired of cliché antagonistic dynamics.
Infinite Survival Game
I read it a while ago, but I found it really nice. MC is a survival fanatic that is playing a survival game competition. I loved the survival games and how each stage was completed. The romance was subplot, and not the focus. Only lame thing was the ending was abrupt and could have been ignored.
Although She’s Only a Level 1 Noob, She’s Still Incredibly Powerful
Enjoyment depends on how much you tolerate an MC who flip-flops between OP and coward. She’s cautious, greedy, pitifully shameless, and oddly fearless when convenient. It feels like a grab bag of tropes glued together, leading to whiplash. Despite 13 years with boss ghosts, she can't gauge power levels and overestimates others while plotting recklessly. Didn't get far enough to see if it improves...
To Be Emperor
A solid novel with a strong, regal female lead who’s methodical, decisive, and handles conflicts with ease. She kills when needed, shows mercy when she wants, and consistently outmaneuvers others. Her companions feel more like subordinates, lacking genuine team dynamics or banter. Only the mild connection with the male lead gets extra focus, though occasional jealousy tropes are annoying. Still, it’s satisfying to watch her breeze through challenges.
The Character Setting Cannot Collapse [Infinite]
It was very interesting the first few arcs, but I lost a bit of interest as it went on and each character she played had almost zero overlap so it felt like a new character each time. Hard to be attached to the MC if you don't know what you're attached to other than knowing that she'll be a new character next round. Still, I'd give it a try if you like the infinite horror genre.
Awakening Suddenly Before Ascending, Educating Unfilial Descendants
Interesting premise: a powerful female lead about to ascend is backlashed by her clan’s karma. Ying Tong handles problems with overwhelming force, unbothered by moral debates. Offend her? You're done. Cry to gain pity? Not happening. Situations are tropey but varied. The Heavenly Dao feels oddly human, though recent plots are frustratingly dumb. It's incomplete, but was engaging.
