I really didn’t enjoy this read at all ^^ there were way too many disturbing scenes… The main character is completely unable to defend himself or even speak properly, and personally it just frustrated me the whole time while reading. Overall the story feels very repetitive: a bottom in debt to a rich top, then he ends up pregnant and runs away… that trope can be interesting, but here it was honestly really uncomfortable and there were absolutely no precautions taken around such a delicate 🍇 topic 😐
The manhwa doesn’t really do it justice (for now), so I totally understand the skeptical opinions :)) but I still want to recommend this beautiful work that took me through so many emotions!! This read was incredible, I literally just finished it and I already miss my Taekjoo and Zhenya 😣 I’ve rarely seen an enemies-to-lovers story developed this well from beginning to end. Even the plot around them is really well thought out and consistent, nothing feels rushed, and you truly understand the characters’ progression and development. Nothing (including the 🍇 scenes) is romanticized or brushed aside. It’s the story of a powerful man who can have anything he wants in the world, even the most destructive weapon… yet it’s one stubborn little man who ends up making him the most vulnerable 🥹

Really good guideverse story (enemies to lovers)! I love grumpy tops who end up falling harder 🤭 and it’s a stronge bottom which I absolutely love hihi ^^ It’s a pretty well-known trope but it’s written really well! The top knows what he wants so it avoids a misunderstanding arc 😌 I really loved reading about the MC’s fears and insecurities slowly disappearing thanks to the ML who’s such a huge green flag😙

Honestly DTR ranks really high for me 😩 Karlyle might genuinely be one of my favorite characters ever? I’ve rarely read someone this soft and comforting… I discovered it thanks to the manhwa getting popular (even tho it was still ongoing- i had to let it marinate omg) and immediately rushed to read the novel and I’m not disappointed at all! The novel goes into so much more detail and it really touched me, especially because you understand Ash’s point of view so much better and he’s honestly one of my favorite green flag tops hihi It’s about a confident guy meeting someone who’s much less sure of himself while suddenly dealing with feelings he never expected. Both of them slowly drown in the love they have for each other and it’s honestly so beautiful to watch and read! I 100% recommend it (especially because it’s alpha x alpha like what more could you ask for)
(manhwa) Way too short?! One of my favorite BL! Enemies to lovers done perfectly, they hate each other but are insanely attracted to one another and the tension is crazy 😛 there’s also a crime story in the background with suspense and romance, literally everything I need
I read it right after PASSION and it genuinely comforted me so much! Yuri… what a man 😻 Honestly I was always a bit unsure about Xinlu, but I’m really happy they ended up truly completing each other and I loved seeing the complexity of their feelings intertwine 😙 Xinlu is basically the final boss of anxious boys while Yuri is peak inner peace so together they’re weirdly comforting 🥹 I’m usually not into age gaps but let’s just say Yuri is the exception 😛 It’s about a man who falls in love with a slightly arrogant guy who’s deeply affected by anxiety and abandonment issues, but to him that’s just a small detail. And through him, the other slowly learns to understand himself and enjoy life again
