I like reading mostly anything If you have any recommendations add me on discord @floorswww Terribly slow reader but my reviews are honest lolol, I will eventually file bankruptcy from all the novels I’ve been buying. I occasionally update listings to be accurate.
Secret Spouse
I realised quite recently that on Ridibooks it mentioned that it was the novel within Chasing Lilies so I HAD to read it. For anyone unaware, in Chasing Lilies it mentions Secret Spouse (CH1 on Lezhin but I'll spoiler the rest if you'd like to read the novel without the background info) <spoiler>is a novel Kim Yuri wrote about a married woman who hides the fact that she's married and pretends to be single but in the last episode it is revealed that she was not married to a man but a woman.</spoiler> This story is definitely a GL so just sit back and enjoy the binge. I bought the ebooks on Ridi so around the last half of volume 1 and the beginning of volume 3 It will be mainly in Seona's POV and the development and the beginning of her and Jeonghan's relationship. She and Jeonghan definitely have some miscommunication and misunderstandings but they solve it eventually. Jeonghan is an absolute fool for Seona once they've established their relationship it makes me smile like crazy especially since Jeonghan was dense at first but eventually recognised their feelings and is absolutely devoted to Seona since then because Jeonghan's love towards Seona is definitely infinite. I honestly feel like Hwa-won because I need more of them aaaa
After Transmigrating into the Heroine of a School Tragedy Novel
Enjoyed reading this novel, I loved the dynamics between the love interests it felt like I was being force fed sugar constantly. If you love fluff I’d recommend this 100% <spoiler>if you feel that the most conflicts were had little impact I’d relate to it but most conflicts that were brought up were relevant around the end of the novel</spoiler>
The Season You Will Love
This series was very sweet to read honestly, Aileen and Seren's relationship was lovely to see develop and there's no crazy miscommunication between them, especially in the last chapter where they quickly resolve a misunderstanding so nothing is dragged on. A great read in general for something quick to pass the time.
[GL] I Must Seduce the Hidden Antagonist of the Idol Story
I enjoyed reading this series, the romance aspect was fun to read and seeing their developing feelings after volume 2 was the best. Yeoul and Sol's relationship was entertaining throughout the series. Yeoul being dense about everything was funny. She's an honest to heart character who cannot deceive someone to save a life, which contrasts Sol's character well. Last volume/side stories are R19 but the majority of the series is all ages.
[GL] The C-Class Guide and the S-Class Esper
A nice short read. Saebyeok is competent as hell alongside Seowoo which was fun. Seeing Seowoo trying to win back Saebyeok and take her back as a guide was cute, it's obvious how much she loves her. The side stories were the best since Seowoo absolutely cannot stop keeping her hands on Saebyeok.
[GL] Fucking, Insane, Crazy
The title really tells you what goes on in the story because there truly is sex every volume. It was a good read that had dark themes, but Haerang was suffering throughout the series oml. The side story was very rewarding and sweet though for the most part since Juyeon and Haerang begin to live their lives properly. Definitely will check out the authors other works since I enjoyed this story.
[GL] 98% Guiding
This is a nice oneshot if you like quick romance, Yikyung is honestly something with how quickly she pounced on Yuna. There was definitely dubcon but they do like each other by the end of this short piece.
[GL] Brilliantly Confined
This story was a decent read, I found it fun to pass the time, but my goodness after chapter 38 there's chasing, chasing, and more chasing. I did like that they had a mutual obsession with each other though by the end of the story which was nice. The author also worked on <Spiteful Affection> so it wasn't like I was expecting anything mind blowing but I definitely enjoyed the reading it.
[GL] The S-Rank Esper’s Guide to Proper Living
Two volumes and two stories. I preferred volume 1 from how sweet Chanseong and Seoju's little misunderstanding was and Chanseong is quite silly with how she kept calling Shark names because she didn’t want to call Shark her name. Volume 2 was great when seeing the love hate relationship between Shark and Yisoo, it was a lot more spicier than volume 1. It's definitely a good quick read when you're bored. Honestly wish there were more stories on Chanseong and Seoju, I love their story so muuuch
[GL] Prey
This was a good read, Juyeon being so possessive and jealous leading her to behave cruelly was fun and Haerang eventually falling for Juyeon despite everything by the end of the series was entertaining. Their love-hate dynamic didn't water down at all and it was nice to see them behave insanely until the end especially when Haerang pushes back against Juyeon. The side stories did give closure on their relationship by the end of the side story.
