NovelList does not publish illegal translations or circumvent payment. Every reader on our platform must purchase the original Korean novel before they can translate it for their own reading.
Our goal is to make untranslated novels more accessible while encouraging readers to support authors and publishers. When no legal option exists, many readers turn to illegally hosted translations online. To address this, we've officially published many guides on how to buy and translate novels legally across Korean sites: novellist.co/blog.
The service is strictly for personal reading only and we take service abuse seriously. We've worked with Korean publishers in the past to help with the enforcement of illegally reposted content. Any publisher who has concerns is welcome to contact us at support@opennovel.co.
