Before you begin: You will need a screenshot of either your driver's license, national ID card or passport.
Create a Ridibooks Account
Turn on the in-browser Google Translate to navigate the website. Click on "Join the membership" in the top right corner to create an account.
Apply for Adult Verification
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner. Then, look for "1:1 Inquiry" in the left sidebar. Then, click on the "Overseas Resident Customer Adult Verification Application" button.
Fill in the form. You will need to upload a screenshot of your driver's license, national ID card or passport - they only need your English name and date of birth, so you can blur out all the other information before submitting if you wish.
Once you submit, it takes a few days for them to approve your application. They do not send you an email, so you will need to come back and check on the status of your application.
Checking on your application status
Go back to the "1:1 Inquiry" page. Click on "Inquiry details" in the top right corner. You'll see the request you just made there.
It will show "Answer completed" once they have approved your application.
You can now view all 19+ manhwa and novels on Ridibooks!
